Add a copy link icon to each section header Since the docs are so long, and each header has an ID you can link to, you should put a link icon that copies the link to clipboard for each header for easy sharing.

streams.online for user This is something with the intention for client rather than server side.
So the idea is to subscribe to the streams.online topic but instead of specifying a broadcasterid you specify a userid. This topic would give the streams.online notifications for the broadcasters that the user is following and has notifications enabled for. You could subscribe to streams.online for each broadcaster a user is following which is indeed a possibility but at the same time cause a problem as some people follow a good 200-300 channels of which for quite a lot they probably don't even have notifications which…

If I need Extensions Onboarding, link to it. You have error messages that tell me I can't do [insert a variety of things here] until I have completed something like "Extensions Monetization Onboarding." The error message fails heuristics because it doesn't let me fix the problem. It says I need to do something but doesn't give me a link or way to do it. That seems like a huge mistake, but with the forums FULL of people complaining that they can't find it either, I'm wondering if it's a dark pattern and done on purpose.

Highlight vod offset/origin vod Extend the Videos API via a "metadata" endpoint, that provides additional data about the video.
Including but not limited to
- Category changes during the video
- Offsets are relative to the source video that the video is from. So for a highlight it would report the video it was cut from and include where in the origin file the highlight is cut from.
For Example: https://api.twitch.tv/helix/videos/metadata?id=1234
Metadata would support up to 100 (or 50) id's at once like Get VideosReturns examples

Documentation is misleading at best This information is incorrect. The panel and component extensions fail when self hosted with https making it useless to try and test on twitch as it does not function at all. Please update this page or remove it so that people do not attempt to make extensions only to have your code completely ruin the process.

Add current subscriber count and current sub points to payloads In subscription based events, add fields with the current number of subscribers and how many sub points the broadcaster currently has.
Since there is still no way to get these numbers except of iterating over the full subscriber list (which costs lots of requests on bigger channels) this would be an awesome addition to subscribe/unsubscribe/sub expired-events.Alternative: Subscriber count/Sub points change events. But that probably would be too many events on busy channels.

Add "channels.clip" when a Clip is created for a Broadcaster Would be great to have an event when a clip is created scoped to a particular broadcaster_id.

UX improvement It would be nice to have a "next" or "continue" button. It is confusing to navigate after reading "what are we going to build", I wasn't sure where this building was going to happen.

Twitch Drops That you make so those hows droping skins should play the game all week like everyday. starting to get irretated. 2 drops rounds have had streamers dont streaming or streaming other games, so its hard to get them. Or just scrap the howl program.

If a developer stores the ID's when the subs are created, they may want to spot check a single ID's status, or check the settings of it, without having to paginate or manually filter the results returned when using on of the currently offered filter options

Add Helper: Feature Flags from extension to the API for backend validation Right now, you can only check if the streamer setup permissions for your extension from the helper, such as isBitsEnabled, isChatEnabled, isSubscriptionStatusAvailable. It would be nice to be able to query the API to see which permissions the streamer setup.

The documentation doesn't express how to properly authenticate a chatbot without human intervention This page suggests "OAuth Authorization code flow" but i don't believe this is correct because for a chatbot to be effective you would need the access token to never expire or the process to handle expiry and refresh to be event driven. Having a robot/non-existing user login seems misleading or wrong.

Pubsub Docs: benefit_end_month This evening I received a resub over pubsub for 3 months in advance. Rather than the documented "multimonthduration" field, that was set to 0 and a new "benefitendmonth" field was returned. This can be used to calculate the number of months, but I can't find any mention of it in the developer docs.

channel.update or stream.online - add live-notification message to payload To forward live notifications, it would be awesome to also receive the live notification message the streamer has set - either when they set it with channel.update and/or when the stream goes live.

Proposed fix: Set the background-color: black on the html element in the iframe. Possibly only in a darkmode if such exists.
Why is this the correct fix ? I think the cause is weird sub pixel roundings (in this case Firefox). We have seen it previously on Chrome also and seems to also be hardware dependent. I doubt this will ever be fixed from browser vendors while setting it black will mask the issue for good.

There are a number of Twitch Extensions that would be good to know if/when emotes change. (HypeMeter for example)
And Developers of single channel bots will need to know so they can add/remove emotes from any channel commands.
