  1. It is frustrating as a streamer that there is no category for when you just want to play random games, switching between games on your system and having a general game jam. We are forced to use the Just Chatting category and then people who look for that category are miffed to find you gaming, and your normal viewers will skip you because they think you're not gaming. You then spend half your stream explaining the situation to the few who do pop in. Please can we have a Random Gaming or Misc Gaming or Just Gaming category to use?

  2. There are 2 games as World of Warcraft Shadowlands and World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Classic. But two of them in the same panel. I dont want to see anything about Burning Crusade Classic thing. Also it shouldnt be allowed to do 2 different games in same section. Think about Valorant+ League of Legends in the same section because they are both game of same company. Please make them separate so i can watch what i want.

  3. With twitch having a following limit and eventually everyone will hit the cap at some point there should be an easier way to manage and get rid of who we follow, more so for when we want to mass remove a lot of channels that arent active anymore. either a better UI that shows us who we follow with an easy follow/unfollow button along their name or an option or automatic process that removes people who havent streamed in 6-12 months

  5. Since only Partners can run a Stream team, and since "communities" can't be shown on the stream page easily anymore. It'd be really good to have something like "Guild" or "Guild Play" or "Guilded Gaming" something along those lines to be able to denote a stream featuring Players from the same guild doing things. This would also allow guilds to showcase their gameplay and let people look at streams in a game that are featuring such gameplay to find guilds that they would mesh with personality wise!

  6. There's a category for every game but not ones more granular than "Science and Technology"?! An Electronics category would be one that could be broken out from this.

  8. Dear Twitch Team,

currently – we as the GTA: Online players – have the issue of finding others who also play it live on Twitch.
Back in the day, there was a 2nd category called something like "GTA Online" where, for the most part, you could only find streamers playing Grand Theft Auto V's official online mode.
Since this was removed, it's impossible to find others playing it anymore. The entire "Grand Theft Auto V" category is flooded by streamers who are playing on unofficial 3rd party (roleplay) servers.
Therefore, I would like to see a separate category for the…

  9. I'm watching twitch for the streamer and will never watch reruns, although they bloat my interface and are difficult to distinguish from real live streams. I'd like an option to hide them / make them less noticable when scrolling my "FOLLOWED CHANNELS".

  10. The following titles are the original and ports/expansions of the same game:
    * Phantasy Star Online
    * Phantasy Star Online ver. 2 (expansion--note this is different than Phantasy Star Online 2 which is a different game and should be separate)
    * Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II (port + expansion)
    * Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II Plus (essentially just a patch!)

This was previously proposed and implemented with https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310210-discovery-browsing-and-searching/suggestions/39303526-combine-the-5-phantasy-star-online-categories -- since then, the implementation was mostly undone, with all categories except Blue Burst mysteriously returning without announcement or explanation.

When the categories were consolidated previously, it was…

  11. Especially with a major charity drive, the Four Job Fiesta, coming up and focusing on this game, there is literally no reason for Final Fantasy V to have two exactly duplicated game listings on Twitch - but it will harm viewership to have followers randomly being split between two listings.

This is barely even a suggestion, it's just a straight up bug to have a literal duplicate category. Please just fix this.

  12. Citizen science (CS; also known as community science, crowd science, crowd-sourced science, civic science, or volunteer monitoring) is scientific research conducted, in whole or in part, by amateur (or nonprofessional) scientists.[1] Citizen science is sometimes described as "public participation in scientific research," participatory monitoring, and participatory action research whose outcomes are often advancements in scientific research by improving the scientific communities capacity, as well as increasing the public's understanding of science.

There are games like zooniverse.org that allows non-scientist to participate in games that help actual scientist speed up research (i.e. classifying images of galaxies, transcribing historical text, etc.) that…

  14. There are many streamers that have their breasts partially exposed, with an excessive amount of cleavage, which is not appropriate for all end users.

The feature request involves a Blurred Preview for these streamers, and the enforcement of the "Mature Content Filter".

This would allow Twitch users to be able to choose the type of content they are exposed to, instead of the select few streamers forcing this content upon all users. It should also enable other streamers, that offer more 'wholesome content' greater success on your platform, and as part of the Twitch Community.

  15. Games with trigger warnings, especially ones that could be dangerous to a viewer like "photosensitivity warning" or "dark matter" warning should have those tags automatically added to any stream with the game to prevent medical issues for viewers stumbling into the stream.

  16. Video game engines are software just like games that have their own category. By browsing a category of a given engine like Unity or UE, game devs can share their practical knowledge on the platform. In general, it would be easier to find other streams that are using similar workflows. By specifying the engine used in the category field where usually the game title goes, it would reduce the chance that the game development and game jam tags are misused for random gameplay streams.

  17. With the new tags being added, there is now a LONG list of tags to choose from. This is good.

However, it looks very daunting. It would be helpful to group these under headings (IE 'LGBTQIA+' tags are grouped under 'LGBTQIA+' group, regional tags such as British, American, Welsh tags can go under a 'Regional' group, same with charities, activities etc)

It just makes it easier to browse / find tags we're looking for and might be interested in.

  18. Let streamers suggest Image Art for categories of games that show none. If a developer/publisher is available for this game they should be able to correct it but we need a way to push for images since the games don't draw viewers in when there's no image (My issue: Final Fantasy: 20th Anniversary Edition).

  19. The ability to set tags for a channel, or community, which are permanent until manually changed, and separate from the tags for a stream. With the new influx of tags for identity or community description, it's difficult for people to describe both their community, and their content. Additionally, the community tags would be something that would be the same for EVERY stream for most people, and would give viewers an idea of what a channel is about, even when they are offline, thereby helping people find communities that they can relate to and make it easier on streamers who want…

  20. We have an Albanian tag, which is great, but people might want to see streams specifically from or including Kosovans/Kosovan content? Some countries have two variations of tags, and there are tags for multiple countries that all share the same language, so I don't see why there shouldn't be a Kosovan tag other than political reasons.
