1. art therapy

   Hello,

I'd like to suggest adding an Art Therapy category. Art therapy and adult coloring have become increasingly popular in recent years, with books such as Hachette Mystery Coloring Books, cozy coloring books, and many others attracting a growing community.

I think having an Art Therapy category would make it much easier for people with the same interest to find each other, share their creations, exchange recommendations, and enjoy this hobby together.

Thank you for considering this suggestion!

3. Streamers stream on correct game category but vod ends up in wrong category

Hi im Tomas, founder of Deliver Games

Our next game Lucky Shot is being streamed by streamers on this category:
   https://www.twitch.tv/directory/category/lucky-shot-2026

however, all vods are ending up in:
   https://www.twitch.tv/directory/category/lucky-shot

It is not an IGDB issue, I already talked to them.

   Please fix, thank you

4. We need an Automated 'Live Cruise' for Micro-Streamers

The current vertical 'Discovery Feed' is just a poor copy of TikTok.
Twitch users don't want pre-recorded clips; they want live interactions.

Instead of scrolling through clips, let users join a 'Live Roulette / Cruise'.
It automatically hops between streamers with under 100 viewers every 2 minutes.
The chat travels together, allowing the audience to vote 'Stay' or 'Next' based on the streamer's reaction.

This will give micro-streamers a real fighting chance to blow up instantly, fixing Twitch’s aging user base and creating a sustainable ecosystem for the next decade.

8. Theatre

Please give us a Theatre / Theater / Performing Arts category. Musical, dance, acting, technical - we need more representation on Twitch. I am a theatre technician and I enjoy broadcasting my work, but I don't have any specific community or category to stream for. Art has their lovely place.. so why can't the "performing" arts peeps or theatre kids get the same treatment?

There needs to be BOTH a ptPT (Portugal) and ptBR (Brazilian) tag and category ASAP.

They are two different countries with two very different communities.

The amount of time people waste looking for their own communities within games is too high.

10. TwitchZone

A ZoneFriends-Inspired Social Client for Twitch — feature idea

TwitchZone would be a standalone desktop client that brings the soul of the old MSN Gaming Zone's ZoneFriends client to the Twitch era. Instead of tracking which lobby your friend is playing in, it tracks which channel they're watching, when a streamer they love goes live, and gives you a single click to jump in alongside them exactly the way the Zone let you follow a friend into a room in 1999.

Twitch already has a follow system, but it's flat and passive. You see that someone is watching, not what the experience is like right now, and there's no gravitational pull to bring you in. TwitchZone would fix that.

    Core Features
+ Live Lobby Panel (The Twitch Wall)
The main screen of TwitchZone shows your friends list in real time, organized not by alphabetical order but by activity clusters. If three of your friends are all in the same channel, they appear grouped together exactly like the Zone's lobby rooms where you could see a cluster of friends already seated at a table.

    • Follow Alerts with Context TwitchZone replaces generic "X is now live" notifications with contextual alerts:

🟣 Infinitism_ just went live and 4 of your friends are already watching.
Playing: Elden Ring · 1,240 viewers · Started 12 min ago
    [Jump In]

The social proof of knowing your friends are already there is the pull mechanism. It mirrors the Zone's dynamic where you'd see a lobby filling up and feel compelled to join before it got full.

    • The Watchlist Lobby A dedicated tab showing every streamer you follow who is currently live, sorted by how many of your friends are watching not by total viewer count. Your social graph becomes the algorithm. A streamer with 200 viewers but 5 of your friends watching ranks above one with 50,000 viewers and none.

The MSN Gaming Zone worked because it understood something fundamental, people don't just want to play and watch games, they want to play with their people. The lobby system made the social graph visible and actionable in real time.

Twitch has tens of millions of viewers who are effectively alone in the same room. TwitchZone makes the room visible. It turns passive co-watching into something that feels like pulling up a chair next to a friend, the same magic the Zone delivered twenty-five years ago, rebuilt for the streaming age.

Concept by Infinitism · Inspired by the MSN Gaming Zone ZoneFriends Client (1996–2006)

11. Esports Tab

Twitch's discoverability for different forms of content has long been a pain point for the organization, its creators, and its users. Creators have to rely on third party sites and platforms to drive traffic to their channels, users have to rely on streamer collabs and word of mouth to find new content and creators, and Twitch itself tried multiple products to help discoverability. To this date, the only effective one is the directory - which is one distinct advantage Twitch has over other competitors in the space.

To further maintain an organizational advantage over other streaming sites in the space, it's imperative that Twitch further carve out this discoverability identity. I would like to propose an "eSports tab" that allows users to see a schedule of upcoming tournaments that links directly to the channels of the listed tournaments.

    This ensures the following:

    1. Some populations of users feel increasingly disenfranchised by Twitch's brand as a lifestyle site as opposed to a traditional gaming site. This tab addresses those concerns by making gaming a bigger focus in Twitch's suite of products.

    2. The current workflow for finding tournaments for games is a major painpoint. Users have to navigateoff site to places like start.gg, vlr.gg, lolesports, or Team Liquid's site to find out what tournaments are happening. Sometimes a Twitch stream is listed on those sites, but oftentimes they are not. Users have to check multiple sources for information all the time, and because of that their end destination will oftentimes be another platform and not Twitch. I've been in multiple streams when users that are currently watching the broadcast have to ask, "When is top 8?", followed by new users arriving and asking "wait, there was a tournament?" Consolidating information in one place would ease the problems viewers have in watching multi-day events and discovering that events exist at all. To emphasize this point - I didn't even know Rocket League had a championship series until I got raided into it one day.

    3. Since co-streaming is so popular, creators that co-stream the event could be listed in addition to the official stream to help smaller broadcasters. This directly addresses a pain point across multiple games where Twitch would become the default viewing experience.

    4. This is a potential revenue stream. Multiple companies have tried paid access streams before (Capcom, Overwatch Pro League, League Pro View) but most have lacked the infrastructure necessary to make it cost effective. An all access pass where additional functionality is provided through twitch's extension API but monetized through something like Turbo or a Turbo+ would be an insanely more viable value add/business model than previous attempts to monetize eSports specatorship. It is also not limited to professional eSports casts - amateur leagues and streamer leagues could be listed as well (and potentially boosted via advertising dollars) to be shown more prominently in the schedule.

For reference, SOOP has this functionality and it's insanely helpful. The drawback is SOOP's focus on a single region. This idea is an easy slam dunk for Twitch all across the board and is hardly an expensive investment.

Please implement this so I can delete my folder of tournament sites I had to bookmark and so I don't have to rely on SOOP's schedule.

12. stream with delay

"Stream with Delay" is a specialized non-gaming category and broadcast concept designed for content creators, event hosts, and production teams who utilize an intentional time offset during live broadcasts. This category encompasses live events where a deliberate delay (ranging from seconds to minutes) is implemented for strategic or production purposes, such as preventing stream-sniping in competitive community events, managing live interactive elements, or running structured broadcast experiments. It focuses on the unique dynamics of delayed streaming and community management outside of traditional gaming.

13. CookieRun Braverse

Released in 2023 in Korea, the CookieRun franchise's entry into the TCG space has begun to expand into other regions and continues to do so. Along with other slightly more niche TCG's, with no digital version of the game to speak of, it would make sense to have it's own category on Twitch for both handcam and simulator streams.

14. blocking tags or putting them in a "Do not show" list for the safety of children and promotion of community on the site.

i would like a feature to block certain tags, it would help keep children safe and not accessing adult content not meant for kids and it would also keep twitch highly customized to the user! The feature would make it so the account would not see any channels with the tags that are on the "do not see" or "block list". It could be any tag from a certain game people have no interest in to certain aspects of a stream that people also have no interest in! It would help the people find what they are looking for when raiding other channels and not end up in an awkward position of sending your community off int0 a space you never meant for them to be in! It would promote growth of communities and help people find their space on the site without having to dredge through the swamp to find em! At the end of the day its entertainment and children are on this site and all you have to do to put a half naked girl in front of them is have certain tags and its not promoting a healthy environment for people to be in and should be made easier to customize what you do and do not see on the site. It shouldnt be a hard feature to add aswell and will promote Twitch further! also please ban all the OF girls promoting **** on your website like your ToS says it does but clearly does not! Thank you for the time! hopefully you do the right and honorable thing here!

15. Game Mute Button

I'd like to suggest there being a Mute button next to the Follow button on a game's category page.

Speaking from experience, I've had multiple games spoiled by streamers on my Following page, either through their titles or unfortunately timed preview thumbnails. The latest incidence of this being a game I was only about to purchase today but now cannot, also meaning the developer has lost income because of it.

By putting a Mute button on a game's category page, and a user clicking it, any streamer with that game set as their currently streaming category will be automatically hidden from view sitewide for that user, allowing greater spoiler protection for those who are currently playing that game themselves, or are thinking of purchasing it in future.

I know most of you guys probably dont watch roblox streamers but

I wanted to give feedback on the current Roblox category layout. The newer page design appears to prioritize recommendation rows and Roblox experience groupings instead of a straightforward live stream rows like every other category has. As a viewer, one of the things I value most on Twitch is discovering smaller creators. I often browse categories by low viewer count specifically because it helps me find unique communities and streamers that I would never see otherwise. The previous browsing experience made this much easier.

With the current Roblox category layout, streams are heavily organized into sections such as recommended content and experience-based rows. It seems much harder to view all live channels in a simple list or sort streams from low to high viewer count. This creates a situation where larger channels become easier to surface while smaller streamers can end up overshadowed or buried.

The ability to intentionally discover small creators is one of Twitch's strengths and a major reason many viewers use the platform over algorithm-driven content feeds. I would love to see an option to return to a classic directory view, or at minimum restore visible sorting tools such as Viewers (Low to High) so users can browse all streams more freely.

I appreciate the work that goes into improving Twitch and wanted to share feedback from the perspective of someone who actively uses category browsing to discover creators. I simply would like this ui reverted as it makes it 100x harder to find actual small, good streamers, id like to have it the same as every other category, and be able to use tags like "English" to find streamers to connect with, i went on the roblox category when the ui was the same as every other ui, and seeing this while looking for streamers has made the experience worse, this genuinely overshadows a bunch of streamers, theres way more people streaming roblox then what is really shown on this cluttered ui, Please revert this or tell me a way to change it back

19. Twitch Clips

Similarly to youtube shorts and instagram reels, it would be great if they had a short swipe section on twitch to highlight most popular clips of the week. It would be a great idea to boost discovery especially seeing the special moments to introduce more streamers. It creates a new way to discover people rather then front page or just by viewership in certain categories. Popular twitch clips are always reuploaded on other platforms that not only generates tons of views, but builds their community bigger on other platforms when their primary focus is Twitch. I think it would be fun to have section called Twitch Clips and just doom scroll through popular clips of the week. I think their so many funny people that don't have a way to shine a spotlight on them in twitch, and this gives that opportunity. I feel like it would make more people download the app and completely transform it.
