Video editing as a stream category I think it'd be cool for people to learn more about the post-production side of videos! It'd get more people into editing if bigger people stream it, it can give more motivation for smaller creators, and it could even lead to a possible career, plus: if someone streams it, their chat could recommend jokes or point out smaller things that the streamer didn't notice!

Video Production Category As someone who streams on Twitch and also produces videos, a video production/video editing category would be nice to have. I sometimes stream myself in Adobe Premiere Pro, which doesn't have a category. I wouldn't consider the art category because it doesn't 100% fit.

Category for Video Art streamers Hello, there are an increasing number of video artists using twitch, but no good category to bring them together. Some use 'Art' but tend to get lost in the sea of traditional artists (painters, drawers etc). Some use 'Music' since their video art is often accompanied by music, but again the focus of that category isn't really right for what they're doing.
Most of the video artists I'm aware of are either generating artistic moving video patterns from scratch (like '70s-style psychadelic music videos, but moving far beyond that with modern technologies) or curating, reshaping and modifying pre-existing video…

Add photography/editing categories Please add a category outside of Art/Just Chatting for photographers and editors. There is a rapidly growing number of editors and photographers who have very helpful content, tutorials, and ideas that don't directly fit into "Art" or "Just Chatting".

New Category Can we create a category for "Miniature Painters". Art is very broad, and as much as we do fit in we often get lost and overshadowed by other subjects. If Video games have specific sections for specific games wouldn't it be wonderful if Miniature Gamers/Miniature Painters would get their own?

Can we get a Category Can we possibly get a category for steamers that read/narrate books? Topics like "Storytime" and "Storytelling" are both linked to obscure video games, and ASMR is linked to far too many whispering & synthesized ear licking channels.

Add KeyForge Game KeyForge (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KeyForge) is not a recognised game in Twitch. It's a physical card game, not a video game, so it can't be added through IGDB. But it's played a lot online too, specially since the pandemic, through thecrucible.online and tabletop simulator.
We have daily streams, and some popular streamers such as:
https://www.twitch.tv/tabletoproyale
https://www.twitch.tv/critcamp
https://www.twitch.tv/kfpl_jupiter
https://www.twitch.tv/keyforgeonlineteameventsIt would be awesome if we could find them all together, inside Twitch.

A new category Tomb Raider: 10th Anniversary Edition Tomb Raider: 10th anniversary edition is a never released game by the original Tomb Raider developers Core Design. This game recently was made playable by the fans and is regularly updated.
It would be great to have it as a special category since more and more people stream it. Right now we have to use "Tomb Raider Anniversary" category which is not relevant to this game as "Anniversary" is a different game by Crystal Dynamics.
Some proof how popular and important Anniversary Edition is for the gaming community:

Designated category for Creative Writing and related content Ranging from writing and discussing novels, to poetry, scripts, comics, article editing, tabletop campaign planning, world creation, etc. There are a wide array of people doing various forms of creative writing on twitch, (Counted 53 channels so far, still working on finding more) and often it's hard to decide between "Creative" "Art" or "Just Chatting". Currently all we have to search for similar content is the "Writing" tag, which some of the broader definitions are hesitant to use, and is also used by people writing computer code, which is honestly a very different type of content despite it's visual…

Add "Minecraft: Bedrock Edition" Category I am having a hard time to find a streamer playing Minecraft: Bedrock Edition by entering "minecraft bedrock" it's because it keeps showing streamer who plays on Java Edition but not on Bedrock Edition. Besides that, people might stop asking "this is java or bedrock?" or this kind of questions.

Please fix the Mortal Kombat categories & add the original Mortal Kombat (1992) The Mortal Kombat categories featured on twitch are inaccurate & should be fixed. It is one of the most iconic & recognized franchises in the video game industry & deserves accurate extensions on the platform.
The original Mortal Kombat, which released in Oct 1992 doesn't even have it's own category. It's absent. I'm assuming so the 2011 remake could replace its spot. While categories such as the ever popular Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe: Silver Shield Combo Pack (a copy of the base game boxed with a bonus blu ray of the original live action film) & Mortal Kombat Mythologies:…71 votes -
Merge "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" and "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition" categories Most streamers are streaming in the first category and actually playing the second title anyway. There's no reason to have separate categories, and it just splits the audience and the content creators. The SSE version is just a 64 bit platinum build of the original, kind of like a redux or remastered version of other games. It's the same game.

Add Trinity Continuum, Scion Second Edition, and They Came from Beneath the Sea Categories I'm the content coordinator for Onyx Path Publishing. We have several streams on our channel that focus on our Tabletop Roleplaying games listed above, as well as partner games such as Realms of Pugmire, Legendlore, and Cavaliers of Mars, and licensed games including Exalted, Chronicles of Darkness, and World of Darkness.
Other channels stream these games as well, but it is difficult to find them under the catch-all Tabletop RPG tag. I would like to either have individual categories for our lines, or tags for those lines added to the directory.

Pokémon trading card game Hey, so, there's a category called Pokémon Trading Card Game, which is the name of two different things. It's both the name of a Game Boy Color game popular in speedrunning, as well as the name of a physical card game. It is unclear to me if the category is intended to represent the GBC video game or if it represents the real life physical card game, but it is used by both, which is very confusing and makes streams difficult to find. Could this category be split into two separate categories, one for the physical card game (booster pack…

Add a Category for each popular Game Engine (Unity, Unreal Engine, GameMaker Studio, Godot) Video game engines are software just like games that have their own category. By browsing a category of a given engine like Unity or UE, game devs can share their practical knowledge on the platform. In general, it would be easier to find other streams that are using similar workflows. By specifying the engine used in the category field where usually the game title goes, it would reduce the chance that the game development and game jam tags are misused for random gameplay streams.

Magician There are magicians who stream magic tricks on Twitch, and unfortunately use a "magician" tag that is affiliated with a video game. It would be lovely to have a Magician category for those who do magic tricks.
