I already, by the past, read books and I had to put my stream in the just chatting category and because of the people who flood the chat I'm always on my back for the rest of the stream, and it would be awesome if we had a Reading category on Twitch.

I believe you can only read copyright free material. You couldn't read the whole Harry Potter series, for example. This is probably why they can't support this right now. It would take an ungodly amount of moderation to "police" every channel that thought they'd jump on the new bandwagon, in the same way that "music" is still pretty small as it has to be copyright free or original works.

I also read sometimes in my streams, so far I've just been doing this in the creative section under #voiceacting because that seems to be the closest category.
Twitch might be more likely to add another Creative category than a whole reading section.
