   We really do need this, I dread seeing creator-driven platforms undercutting creators. Giving us the chance to figure it out together and being transparent would help.

    This is a very useful idea, and in addition I also agree with Schfiftyfive55's suggestion below of being able to control the audio tracks from the game, music and voice separately on the watcher's end if possible.

    Thank you for the patience with us on this. This has been one of the most popular ideas on UserVoice and we definitely heard your feedback. 

    
    

    Today we launched /announcement for mods and streamers. Announcements can be used in chat to highlight a message and are available in 4 different colors along with the channel accent color. Because this is only part of the ask of this idea we are setting this idea to partial release so the community can continue to leave feedback on this.

    We could bring /me colored text back, and instead highlight donation messages in a way that can't be faked if that's an issue (i.e. like how points messages can have animated emotes and nothing else can, or give donations a special emote or image, or a special border, or something else)

    Setting this to a partial release status as the majority of ads on web and TV apps should now have normalized sound. We are still continuing the work on this and will update the status again when it is fully complete!
