Merge "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" and "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition" categories
Most streamers are streaming in the first category and actually playing the second title anyway. There's no reason to have separate categories, and it just splits the audience and the content creators. The SSE version is just a 64 bit platinum build of the original, kind of like a redux or remastered version of other games. It's the same game.

I'm not sure why they needed to be split to begin with. Please merge!

Please merge the Skyrim categories back together. Thank you. 💖

I agree. There should be no reason for this separation. Like merge them and then mention the likes of "Special Edition" Anniversary Edition" in the about section of the category. Because I am pretty sure the majority who streams on the original Skyrim category are all SE/AE users

LE players are few now a days. Merge the two so people are exposed to both modding communities. Just let peeps tag as LE, SE or AE.

Shouldn't have been split to begin with.

This is a no-brainer to bring life back to an amazing series that gets a hard time on Twitch! Streamers shouldn't be punished by categories when they want to stream a game they love!!

Hopefully this gets some traction so that Twitch resolves this issue. There's no reason for there to be two categories, it is the same game, and it should be treated as such. This would be a big benefit to the Skyrim communities on Twitch.

Quite annoying to have 2 separate categories for TESV Skyrim. Even if it's 2 different editions of the game, it's still the same game at its core.
Please merged these categories. -

I care as a streamer, don't get me wrong. But, I care mostly as a viewer when I request to merge the two categories. To have Twitch running 24/7, I have to utilize the mobile app at least once throughout the day. This means I can only view one streamer at a time, during work hours. If I have to spend time flipping between two categories to find the streamer I need to host & lurk on (usually a Skyrim streamer), I very likely could miss hours of me being able to host/lurk if someone needs me in real-life, and I'm pulled away before I find the streamer I'm wanting to support. It hurts viewers and streamers alike to have the SAME GAME split into two names. That is why I would like to merge the two categories. Not only that, the split just doesn't make any sense; at least name one of them Anniversary Edition! 😂

Please merge these two categories. It will make it easier for viewers to find streams and will likely increase viewer counts for streamers. Thank you!

Having too many categories for game variants doesn't allow exposure to all of the game. You have like 50 subcategories for Street Fighter II but they are ghost towns.
We don't want this for Skyrim. Simplify this by merging them together to allow exposure to grow in all fields.
To quote the man who made Skyrim: It just works.

Twitch, why are you dividing us??

Having two categories for Skyrim games only makes it less likely you'll find your favorite streamers. Are there ANY other game categories that differ only by 32/64 bit versions of the game? I hope not, because this is not helping the gaming community.

I agree, the two games should be merged into 1. It makes no sense to split Skyrim and Skyrim SE. Bring the community together under one title please Twitch!

This needs to happen! I've been ranting about this forever now. The only difference between the two is that one is running 32bit and the other is 64 bit, it's the same game. This unnecessarily divides the same community into two which hurts viewers AND streamers. The Elder Scrolls Skyrim community is an amazingly wonderful community so please bring it together! There is no reason for the separation.

I've never seen this many people agree so completely about anything related to Skyrim.
Please Twitch, take that very very seriously and merge these categories. It's long past due. -
