Why must we keep coming back to this Twitch?! We do not want AI - You are risking a mass exodus of content creators and risking any future content creators wanting to do business on your platform. Shame on you Twitch. Shame.

It's absolutely wild that a platform that is suppose to promote a "safe space" for inclusive & marginalized communities is actively running ads to promote someone's transphobic platform and rhetoric.
Do better Twitch.

Hey all! Thanks for this thread. We recently deprecated anonymous Cheering after we discovered it was being abused. While we understand some viewers prefer not being recognized for Cheering, we made this change to ensure a safer experience for those who were negatively impacted.
We’ve also heard your concerns on what this means for the future of Bits. This deprecation is not related to any plans to limit Cheering with Bits on Twitch, and is solely focused on providing a safer experience for our community.

I agree. There should be no reason for this separation. Like merge them and then mention the likes of "Special Edition" Anniversary Edition" in the about section of the category. Because I am pretty sure the majority who streams on the original Skyrim category are all SE/AE users

Hi, thanks for flagging this and sharing your suggestion.
We share and understand your concerns about how the intentional, repeated misuse of tags can undermine the purpose of the tags product itself. Tags are an important discoverability feature for communities, and a powerful way for all Creators—but especially those that are underrepresented—to express their personal identity and creative vision for their content.
We also do not feel Twitch should be the judge of Creators’ personal or creative identity, so we typically only enforce against the misuse of tags when it is associated with other behavior that violates our Community Guidelines such as hateful conduct or harassment.
That said, as the VTuber community’s experience demonstrates, there are limitations to this approach and we are actively investigating additional steps we can take to protect and improve the integrity of the tags feature at scale, without infringing on good faith Creators’ personal choice…

As many people pointed out- this isn't just the vtuber tag; but it is any and all tags that is being misused.
And I stand behind not just holding misusing the vturber tag; but any and all tags being misused.

We don't want A.I. -- every A.I. initiative from Twitch has been met with a resounding "NO" -- who was this made for? why do you even remotely think this was a good idea?!
