  1. Twitch should officially introduce support for 120 FPS livestreams, especially for fast-paced competitive games such as Counter-Strike, VALORANT, Apex Legends, Overwatch and other esports titles.

120 FPS would make motion significantly smoother, improve visual clarity during fast camera movement, and provide a noticeably better viewing experience for competitive gaming content.

The feature should be fully optimized across all supported platforms and devices, including:

    • Desktop PCs and laptops
    • Mobile phones and tablets
    • Smart TVs
    • Consoles and other Twitch-supported devices

Viewers should not be forced to watch at 120 FPS. Twitch could automatically provide transcoded versions such as…

  2. Higher audio bitrate option for Enhanced Broadcasting (up to 320 kbps)

Enhanced Broadcasting currently caps audio bitrate at 190 kbps, even when OBS is configured to send 320 kbps. Confirmed via Twitch Inspector: disabling Enhanced Broadcasting restores the full 320 kbps audio; enabling it drops audio to 190 kbps regardless of OBS settings.

This is a real issue for musicians and live performance streamers. I'm a one-man-band streamer (live guitar, vocals, and foot-operated drums simultaneously), and the extra compression at 190 kbps introduces audible artifacts on multi-source audio that aren't present at 320 kbps.

Enhanced Broadcasting was built to push…

  3. I would love if i was able to watch 2k on all my devices as i am on devices that are able to watch 4k on other platforms but i am unable to watch 2k on twitch as it is greyed out and i have done everything that it says on the website as well as what the chatbot has told me to do as well as what customer support has said.

  4. Please enable 1440p for viewers in Czech Republic - I can finally stream in 1440p, but basically all my viewers are region locked and are allowed to watch in 1080p only.

  5. While observing browser behaviour during the watching of a Twitch stream, I noticed that the video player (or some interaction between the video player and the browser; Firefox on Linux) was causing video blobs (parts of the stream sent to my computer) to be placed into the browser's disk cache, filling it somewhat quickly.

This does not happen with YouTube's player on the same browser and OS, which would appear to operate entirely in memory.

As a result of this cache usage, there are thousands of SSD writes which may be shortening the lifespan of Twitch viewers' hardware.

    There are…

  6. Twitch needs a Texas, Florida and New York Server for streamers who are local to the South Central and East side of the Country.

Having only 3 ingest servers is not good for the streaming community and I notice some of these servers keep giving me dropped frames after being live for about 2-4hours.

Please Add in more Ingest servers across North America and Add in Av1 encoding with a higher bitrate cap so we as streamers can provide a better quality viewing experience.

    Thank you

  7. Video (VOD) not resuming after ads play if not the active window

I've got a Video (VOD) running as a background tab / not the active window, and every time after the Ads have finished playing the Video will pause until I go and make the window/tab active.

I only have the one screen, and I like to listen to streamers talk more than I watch, so I'll often have live streams or VODs in a background window/tab. Live streams are fine, but VODs have a serious bug where the video does not resume after ads.

    For me, this is…

  9. Currently, to take advantage of the newer codec (HEVC), you have to stream in 1440p.
A lot of streamer have monitors/setups that are primarily 1080p, which locks them out of these gains, and hurts the viewer experience.
Allowing streamers to use this newer codec at the same resolution would boost video quality by magnitudes.

  16. I use multi-track video (Enhanced Broadcasting). However, for the past few days, I've been accepted into the beta program for the dual format (vertical and horizontal live stream), but the multi-track (Enhanced Broadcasting) system is no longer working.

In addition, I can no longer stream in mono-track video.

Is it possible to leave the beta program for the dual format (vertical and horizontal live stream) and revert to the horizontal format only?

(Sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes; I used Google Translate for this post because my written English is terrible.)

  17. Many League of Legends streamers currently hide their minimap (or other sensitive UI elements) by covering it with a black box or overlay on their streaming software. This protects their strategy during the live broadcast, but it permanently damages the VOD/archive — viewers who watch later can never see the full minimap information.I propose a Twitch-side solution:Allow streamers to enable a special “Map/UI Hide Overlay” in their Creator Dashboard (or stream settings). The streamer can position and size a rectangular overlay area (or multiple areas).

During the live stream, this overlay is applied client-side on the viewer’s end (similar to…

Other streams work normally, but this specific channel is unavailable for me.

Please check if this is a regional restriction or playback issue.

  20. Performance settings on the mobile app do not save when navigating between multiple streams. Example, when I'm watching a stream, the performance of the video freezes whenever it is set to Auto. Whenever I join a stream initially it is set to Auto to circumvent. This I have to switch to 1080P close the stream and then reopen it. Then it will no longer be frozen. But if I go to a different stream and then come back to that same stream that I switched from Auto it will default back to Auto. There is no option within the user…
