Timestamps in chat messages that auto configure to the viewers local time zone. On Discord, it has the method that if I post something from https://hammertime.cyou/en in a format such as <t:1675032360:F>
It would display for all users as text for the marked time, but it looks up the computers local time, and displays it customized for them.
It would be nice to have this function in Twitch Chat as well, so you could have a timer that said "this event ends at <date and time>" or "I will be live again at <date and time>" and it would auto-configure the resulting timestamp into the viewers local time format.

Spoiler mode for chat: only messages aproved by mods are shown to the streamer This idea is to prevent spoilers and backsitting.
So they way mods have prevented these things until now was deleting spoilers/backsitting/etc very quickly hoping the streamer won't see it. But sometimes it happens anyways.
So my idea is this: when you activate "Spoiler mode" you can only see the messages that have been aproved as "safe" by the mods. That way, everyone is safe 100% garanteed.

Better way to manage links in chat The idea is to better counter the issue with unwanted links and at the same time provide a way for regulars to post links without getting purged by botmods such as Moobot, AnKbot, Nightbot, etc.
How it works: The streamer and their mods gets a new option ("Links in Chat" to allow them to limit how links acts in chat from the moment this option is changed onward. Possible values:
• "Allow" - Just allows link, unregulated except for the case there's a URL in the blacklist (example: TinyURL).
• "Moderated" - Puts messages containing links "on hold", similar to…2 votes -
Add Gifs to chat and Gif only chat We need Gifs added to chat for more interesting experience. Plus a Gif only chat would be extra funny and keep things awesome.

ability for moderation to flag chatters/viewers To add an option for caster and moderators to anonymously flag a chatter/viewer for tracking.
For example: allow a caster/moderator for which the stream has low restrictions on account creation to flag a chatter that has an account created in the last few days for better visibility, be it immediate or in the future.
Kinda like a flag for suspicious accounts manually set by the moderation.

Hide uptime and similar chat commands It seems extremely irrelevant to display commands for everyone else. If someone wants to know the uptime it does not mean that everyone else does.
Please end this chat spam!2 votes -

Dim a chatter When a chatter is being "watched" by mods.. dim their chat for the streamer. Perhaps also highlight chat for other mods?

Chat Roulette Style View Partying/Chat Room Extension, something. Chat Roulette Style View Partying/Chat Sessions:
Take random/anonymous people from chat and have them video/voice chat with each other and allow them to decide whether or not they want to rope more people into their convo too (so it's not so convoluted/everybody talking at once, you know.) Allow streamer to make parties/rooms if desired etc.
Muscle away at the use of Discord, Zoom, Hangouts (whatever the kids are using these days), would be convenient way for streamer's communities to become "stronger", more "together". Enjoy the shared viewing experience more a more authentic capacity than text and spazzing out with emotes/ascii…

Option to Press Shift + Enter for submitting chat messages Sometimes the enter key gets bumped when typing messages, which then submits a message that is incomplete according to the chatter's intent. Having the user level option to require Shift + Enter to submit a chat message would be harder to accidentally trigger this scenario.

Full screen There should be a way to chat while watching on full screen. Have a small space to type your message and keep the way messages are shown on the in game chat. (the way the streamer can see messages on their screen while playing. But add a chat bar for the people watching the gamer.

Looking for group Would be great to have a tool that allows people from chat to collaborate (play together) in video games. Since they are watching a stream they most likely play the game and most of the time like-minded people watch the same streamer. Making it seamless to play with someone from chat would increase community collaboration.
Link steam, blizzard, uplay or origin with Twitch. Need to allow users to send invite to become friends on a client or to invite to game.
Hit me up if you have questions on the feature request.

Chat Theme Let the content creator can change the background theme of the chatbox. So, it can be more than the normal White or Black theme chatbox. What do I mean about that, I'm talking about a little bit of customization. The content creator can the background color to Red, Blue, to Twitch's iconic Purple color, or whatever they like as long it's following Twitch's TOS. The letter's color will automatically change to adapt to the background color, so the viewers can still see the chat easily.

twitch voicechat I was doing a Qna and I wanted it to be a little more interactive. So I am suggesting voice recording chat.
So, a viewer that wants to say something with their voice gets 10 seconds or (set-time) to say anything you want and the whole stream gets to hear it when requested. This would work if mods would review the voice recording to hear and see if its appropriate or not.2 votes -
reporting user to the moderator When a user does not follow the community rules and the message is overlooked by the moderator, there should be a notify moderator icon next to the messages to notify the moderator of that message and help the channel's layout.

Let viewers generate and suggest a poll. In large streams, viewers often have great ideas for a poll on the topic of conversation, but the streamer would have to stop progress to think up and construct the poll. Viewers would feel a lot more engaged if they could generate the poll and then offer it to the streamer to run under their authorization. This happens a lot in asmongold's stream for instance. He might say something controversial, and the viewers will would love the opportunity to summarize their opinion a little more objectively than just spamming chat with two answers.

Chat command for submitting questions into streamer's dashboard This would especially benefit streamers with many viewers, if they actually intend to interact more with their viewers. The more viewers they have, the less likely it is that a viewer's question gets replied to.
My suggestion:
Viewers can submit questions by using a chat command, e.g: "!q What's your favourite food?"
Questions are automatically shown in the streamer's dashboard. Create a new area for this. Alternatively create a new layer inside the chat box and show the questions there.
Viewers can also see accumulated questions (inside chat box), so they don't submit the same questions multiple times. They can…

Alias Twitch Chat Commands Twitch command aliasing would be a neat addition. Similar to aliasing in .bashrc on Linux.
The ability to set your own aliases for ingrained twitch commands. That way mods dont have to try to remember them, since apparently that is difficult for some.
In this example, it is aliasing the /marker command with /m. In the end both options would work (or as many options as people make).
On Linux it looks like this.
alias '/m'='/marker'On twitch, could be like this.
/alias [new command] [twitch command]
/alias /m /markerScenario:
If a user did
/alias /m /marker
/alias /mark…2 votes
