   Verified E-Mail/phone to follow channel to prevent bot attacks.

   I got attacked TWICE in a row by follower bots, the verified e-mail to talk in the chat is an already existing feature, maybe also giving us an option to have a verified e-mail and/or a verified phone number to follow the channel would be the easiest way to prevent bots and duplicate accounts without the need of any complex solution.

   Ban the word "r*tard" and all variations from Twitch. This is hate speech. Recently, Twitch put a ban on words like "simp," "incel," and "virgin." Meanwhile, there are many partnered streamers, including Asmongold, one of the biggest streamers on Twitch, constantly using the R word and sees no problem with it, therefore influencing their audience of tens of thousands of Twitch users to do the same.

   There are many, many, many articles on the internet explaining why and how the word is harmful, hate speech, and a slur. Most people don't even have to read them to know this. Recently a clip has surfaced of Asmongold saying he won't stop using the word unless he is banned. Ironically, he brings up a good point. Why is it that words like "incel" when used in a derogatory manner are bannable, but a word like "r*tard" which is MUCH more commonly thrown around as an insult, as well as being a more commonly known slur, is ok?

   In Asmongold's words, on a Twitch live stream, "I don't think there is anything wrong with saying the word rtarded, and I think that the people that get mad about it are just ****** stupid. And I'm gonna keep saying it until they tell me I can't--If I say it they'll ban me right? Obviously, if I can't say it, I won't say it."

3. introduce a general guideline for moderators

   Hello everyone,

   More than an idea, it is an awareness that I have developed over time thanks to experience.
   Very often those who begin to undertake the path of Moderation are driven by the desire to come into greater contact with their favorite streamer, with their idol, but the importance of this task is underestimated.

   Being a moderator means taking on the moral and practical responsibility for a person's work, their dreams, their goals, their efforts and their future.
   I consider these human aspects fundamental both on the internet and in life and as such every aspiring moderator should have a total vision of what he is about to start doing.

   The importance of this concept is also reflected in life, in our future and that of our future generations (I have a 6 year old daughter, it is a topic that is particularly close to my heart) and looking around I believe that the time to approach this virtual reality with more seriousness and awareness because it is now clear to everyone that the internet has a fundamental role in our lives and as such it should be considered as a reality to be protected in the best possible way.

   During my experience I wrote a guideline which currently contains 90 points of reflection (obviously must be compressed, it is mainly a draft) which give a fairly complete general vision of what an aspiring moderator will find themself facing and advice on how to deal with every situation, to grow both on a personal level and towards society, because that's what we're talking about!

   I'll share some points from the guide:

   3) Keep a positive tone:
   Always make sure your interactions with viewers are positive and respectful. Avoid aggressive responses and try to resolve problems calmly.

   7) Be impartial:
   Apply the rules impartially to all spectators. Don't make exceptions based on personal preferences or relationships.

   11) Keep up with updates:
   Stay informed about Twitch updates and new features or moderation tools that may be introduced.

   24) Track chat trends:
   Observe chat trends over time to better understand community dynamics. This can help you anticipate problematic situations and adjust moderation accordingly.

   29) Recognize and encourage positive behavior:
   Don't just focus on negative actions; Also recognize and encourage positive behavior in the chat. This can help to create a friendlier environment.

   50) Promote diversity and inclusion:
   Support a streaming environment that promotes diversity and inclusion. Take action against discriminatory behavior and work to create a welcoming space for all.

   58) Create a learning environment:
   Foster an environment where viewers can learn the rules and expectations of the channel. Answer questions and politely explain policies when necessary.

   65) Be thoughtful about your online presence:
   Remember that, as a moderator, your online presence may be observed. Maintain professional behavior outside of the channel and avoid personal conflicts that could affect your ability to moderate and the channels you moderate.

   75) Know the limits of your responsibilities:
   Understand the limits of your responsibilities as a moderator. If there are more complex or sensitive issues, involve the streamer or other appropriate resources.

   86) Be aware of local idioms and expressions:
   If the channel is frequented by an international community, be aware of cultural differences in idioms and expressions to avoid misunderstandings.

   I hope that these examples are enough to make people understand the importance and seriousness of the above because anyone can be a Mod, even the little ones, and I think it is ethically correct to give all a guideline with concrete advice and this does not exist yet. ( I have looked everywhere).

5. I was banned from chat while watching football game because I said Jalen has klown legs?

   I got banned for either saying " Jalen has klown legs" or Wooo, go raiders" a full minute after play? There was no explanation or warning, just banned? I dont think klown legs is racist or political?

6. Shield Mode

   Shield Mode should not be located next to the Moderator Sword when switching from Normal View to Mod View. It has cause multiple issues during streamers lives because of its proximity to the Mod Sword.

7. Allow Option To See Blocked Users' Messages in Other Chats

   I think we should have the option to simply prevent certain users from whispering us; and not have their messages disappear in chats we do not mod for. As a mod, I would prefer to see what troublesome users are saying in other channels and then being able to warn those moderators. However, not being able to see blocked users in other channels makes this impossible.

8. User message history is lost

   Since recently, the history of user messages has broken. For some reason, a maximum of 99 messages is displayed for any user. I talk about "Mod View" on PC, when you open a user profile.

   Прикрепить фото нет возможности, поэтому скопирую текст с ошибкой:

10. История сообщений при запросе на разблокировку на канале

    Некоторые пользователи получают несколько банов на каналах и, при заполнении формы на разблокировку пишут текст, который невожможно пересмотреть в случае, если пользователю отказали в разблокировке, или же её утвердили. Было бы полезно для модераторов понимать историю данных запросов и тексты. Пример очень простой: запрос на разблокировку "Все все пидоры" - модератор отклоняет. Пользователь пишет письмо о том, что он попросил нормально, а злой модератор отклонил потому. что %выдуманнаяпричинаимя%. В данном случае возникает спорная ситуация, которую невозможно разрешить. Было бы очень хорошо, если бы данная история появилась. Спасибо.

11. Clear Timeout/Ban Log

    Sometimes mods timeout/ban someone on accident. We quickly unban them, but it still shows that they've been timed out and their record isn't clean. This can be harmful to the chatter as other mods or the streamer might think they've actually done something wrong and make a decision in the future based on this false record.

12. Link release through moderator

    That there is a setting where the moderators have to approve all links that are posted before it is sent. This could also be integrated into the defense mode and only activated when this is activated (as a setting like the rest in the mode).

13. Filtered terms and phrases

    This feature would be similar to the "Blocked words and phrases" feature but instead of outright preventing messages from being sent, it would flag the message for moderator review, similar to the functionality of the built-in "AutoMod Rulesets" feature.

14. Restricted messages must be shown for mobile moderators

    I know that this proposal takes a lot of points to fix moderation on mobile devices, but, with the new restricted chat messages per user, makes this feature useless if moderators can't see them as well. Meanwhile the app gets attention for improvement from the developers, at least, can fix this ASAP so moderators keep moderating.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Restrict an user in your chat using moderation tools
    2. The user sends a message

    Current behavior:
    The message is shown only for moderators in web browser but not for mobile moderators

    Expected behavior:
    The message must be available for any moderator regardless the device that they're using and be highlighted as suspicious or restricted user the same as the web browser

    I tried to get phone verification but never received SMS or call with the code. My phone number has +57 prefix. Three weeks trying without success. I’m not able to chat with some streamers because of this issue.

Twitch is attempting to farm unneeded information by tying a form of account verification to having and providing a phone number that corresponds with a large telecommunications company. Not only is this incredibly invasive and not at all conscientious, it also serves as a financial barrier to those who are unable, or unwilling to get a normal phone number. Not everyone needs to pay the unneeded money to ATT or a similar corporation. VOIP numbers work just fine. Adding insult to injury, is that you can even physically stream. They will still not verify you with a VOIP number, on the justification that they can't use it to "verify" you, which is absolutely insane when you are a physcial person that uses the streaming function, has followers, and a two step email verification already established. Let's also add, that it prevents a layer of security I could additionally have through added 2 step number verification, because Twitch wants to LIE about it's inability to be used for verification. That's not the issue. They want to know where your zipcode is, and that you pay a communication's company a monthly service fee.
    Organizations I do business with on a regular basis, using a VOIP:

    My doctor/hospital, and other medical service providers.

    My bank.

    My various places of employment.

    The federal government, most particularly the IRS.

    Organization that don't like my VOIP number, and try to act like a normal one is needed in today's world:

    Twitch

    Twitter.

17. Ability for mods to set a limit for chat messages lenght

    Allow moderators to set a character limit for the length of chat messages.
    When many users send long messages, it is often difficult for the streamer to keep the thread. It would be necessary to be able to set a lower limit, per channel, with a chat command.
    For example /lenght 100 to limit users to 100 characters per message, and /lenght off to disable the limit.

    There is a difference between Mobile-Phone Number, and Tele-Phone Number.
    I have Telephone (from State) but no Mobile!
    Why Twitch can't send me the "Code-Number" to my Telephone?
    Other companies can do this, no problem.
    ... another example would be: why i can't verified via e-mail adress?
    Discord can do this too, why can't do twitch as same?

    (besides, it doesn't do much good anyway.
    I see daily some spambot's in the chat....
    They are allowed to use the chat. Unfortunately not me.)

    I hope i will get a free mobilephone as a present to christmas for use Twitch.
    Or i hope Twitch will change the rules.

20. Shared-bans : the feature needs improvement to be functional

    Shared-bans feature need more infos !

    Actualy we only have the state that somone is banned from an other stream.
    We have to go ask the mods of the stream in question each time why he was banned to decide if we also ban him or if we remove the chat restriction.

    We can't just ban them because they are banished elsewhere. If we can't note the reason in the moderator comment, they have every chance of being unbanned if they make a deban request because we don't even know the reason. While it may be for very good reasons

    We should be able to choose to share in addition: the reason for the ban if there is one and/or the last messages sent on the chat by the person and/or the moderator comments
