No Generative AI content or AI Photo Booth in TwitchCon events
GenAI usage has been criticised before by many twitch creators and viewers even in uservoice, so for Twitchcon advertising an AI photo booth is disappointing.
The creators and even viewers are unhappy with this if you look at twitter for instance.
Twitchcon should celebrate creators, not use generative content as it, frankly, insults the entire community.

I agree that TwitchCon should focus on creators and the community rather than making generative AI the main attraction. The event experience should feel useful and authentic for attendees, with practical information and services available where needed. For example, people managing regular household payments may also find resources like https://mepcoebil.pk/ useful.

I agree that TwitchCon should put creators and the community at the center of the experience. If viewers are already expressing concerns about generative AI, using an AI photo booth can feel disconnected from what the community actually wants. Listening to creator feedback and focusing on authentic interactions would make the event feel much more meaningful.

Nobody wants to see Generative AI content or an AI Photo Booth at ALL, which includes not at TwitchCon Events!! This is extremely harmful to artists, including artists on Twitch who are losing income due to AI art. Pay ARTISTS for art and TwitchCon services, not AI

GenAI is so harmful. This is known. Creatives everywhere are constantly having it shoved down our throats, and things like this make it a norm. Please think of all the other things you can do with the money and resources.

i genuinely think the money that would go into this could just go into a photobooth company, extra prints, extra chairs, extra air circulation/purifiers.
i don't think an AI photobooth is worth the money, the loss in morale, and i think everyone would just look back on it with regret. -

Creators are so tired of GenAI being shoved down our throats in every aspect of the internet. It steals from creators to make sub-par content that nobody ever asked for. People see the word AI and they dont want to be associated with that platform, myself included. In time, an alternative to Twitch will rise that actually listens to their community, and Twitch will be left in the dust. The state of the platform is honestly sad at this point, largely dominated by streamers who use viewbotting to mislead sponsers and the platform's anti-creator stance they have taken many times. Twitch continues to dig a deeper grave for themselves by promoting and using AI, and I am sure many streamers would be happy to jump ship at this point due to the repeated lack of care Twitch has as a whole for the audience that made it what it is today.

Every time Twitch has used generative AI in the past, the community has spoken out against it, and changes were made.
We don't want it, why push things that are detrimental to creators as a platform *for* creators?

Twitch is an artist-centric space. Generative AI has no place here.

The use of GenAi is disrespectful to the creators that you’re inviting to the event, and it’s frankly unethical and unnecessary.

AI photo booth not only store biometric data on top of additional information within the booth, it also takes the human aspects of getting a picture, an experience is remembered not through some AI mutation of a photo, but rather, the picture of friends who look as they are without the use of AI, to recall an enjoyable time. Not only are there ethical and environmental concerns upon normalizing this technology without proper recourse, who owns the software? what company is offering this as a way to integrate itself further into twitch events and potentially the platform itself even with the protest and voices of the creators. Ignoring your main source of income as a company, taking away their confidence in the ability of twitch to provide effective, ethically protected spaces as a means to connect to others which helping each other with economically stable and supportive income can only lead to platform decay. I hope that these concerns are met and a review of the ethics of AI and the analysis of its status and false promises to what its projected abilities are and the current reality which shows that it lacks in doing so outside of military contracts, surveillance and data extraction. Individuals and community over dividual and metrics of data to sell and predict.

Support actual artists instead of using AI !!! This decision could cost people their jobs and also lower interest in TwitchCon!
