PLEASE correct your grammar when docking streams for DMCA: has is incorrect The text that appears with DMCA audio is grammatically incorrect.
"Audio for portions of this video has been muted as it appears to contain copyrighted content owned or controlled by a third party."
The has should be have. 'Audio portions have'... NOT 'audio portions has'... Video is not the subject of the sentence. It's crazy this hasn't been fixed.
This has been irking me for years.

DMCA Check Add a section to the twitch app/site where you can enter a title and the artist into said section, and it will tell you whether or not it is DMCA free. It would help the streamer a lot, going through streaming playlists with my friend who is beginning is difficult, why should we spend hours going through sites to see whether or not we can use it in her streams?

Auto mute parts of vods If youget a DMCA strike from music/aduio instead of muting the entire vod it should instead mute or not show the part of the vod that had the DMCA'd part in it then after wards continues the vod

The same song loops but I still get a copyright strike I used "Raining in osaka" as the background music throughout the live broadcast, but I only received copyright for a certain segment, I don't know why, and there was no other music in the middle.

Tell us what song is copywritten so I can remove it from my stream playlist! it isn't always obvious what song or video is to blame. Muted Audio Identification (since we can't listen to it on twitch) or just let us download the vods without the mute so we can cross reverence

I am being flagged for copyrights that are public domain. Up to 50 works a day and no less than 10 whicj I do not have the resources of incr YouTube has a great system for disputing false copyright claims and for claiming your own coptyrighted material that is not so involved that each dispute takes 30 minutes to complete and send. I play public domain classical music which is being falsely claimed and on YouTube all I have to do is dispute send and my work doesn’t get muted. I also own the copyrights and publishing to 140 songs which are flagged and I have to dispute and claun each one Eve time I play my own music. Help

Don't bleach copyrights Companies cannot gain trust if they do not comply with laws and ethics. Some streamers watched anime in their stream without getting permission. That is completely illegal.
The streamers sometimes choose particular words for their streams tag for avoiding a ban. So Twitch had better improve AI which scanning streams or give punishment to particular streamers for not obeying the copyright law.1 vote -

The First Amendment guarantees our right to free expression and free association, which means that the government laws does not have the right to forbid us from saying what we like and writing what we like; we can form clubs and organizations, and take part in demonstrations and rallies. Although this would be a legal act if anyone infringed on copyright rules. The whole idea of punishing people for expression is non sense. DMCA needs to re-evaluate it's core fundamentals which should be to help everyone.

the appeal is not allowing me to submit once completed. the submit button is grayed out and back icon only option create a page to submit proof that I have purchased a license to stream any video and audio on twitch or other platform. our organization purchases a yearly license to stream video and audio during religious services.

This is free advertising for those artists / record labels. It's a feature that is already built into StreamElements Media Request streaming tool. This is no different than streaming games and you know it. If you refuse to use an identifier, you get hit with DMCA.

By asking the Creator who is the real owner of that music/sounds I had my vod muted and after verifying who was the owner and listen to the song, I discovered that he's not the owner at ALL!
That song or part of that song is a mere copy/use of Apple Loops music and samples free to use even for commercial use or broadcasting by Apple Inc. That package of DVD song/sound/sample is part of the Apple product "Final Cut Studio" that I OWN! At the moment if you choose "DMCA" as category you get instantly forwarded to the Info page about creating and responding to DMCA-Claims but there'S no way to ask things about DMCA.

Muted Auto Muted Auto be shouldn't be Muted when exported or downloaded! It is at our risk to upload that somewhere else! It is already muting my commentary and dialogue too, and most of the time in game music has other dialogue and sound effects going to so there will almost never be clear music for anyone to get copy of!
