Accessibilility issues with Ad beaks pausing
Ads pausing when tabbed out or not in view, the ones that go "This commercial break can't play while you're away" are a safety issue for people with photosensitive Epilepsy as tabbing away is how I and others avoid flashing adverts that can cause seizures.
Purchasing turbo is not an answer as paying for accessibility is not an acceptable option.
The best option is to not allow flashing adverts, the next best is to go back on the option of letting ads pause when you're not looking.

When advertisements interrupt playback without providing clear pause, resume, or navigation options, users https://homefurnitureset.co.uk/category/beige-sofas/ may lose track of the main content or struggle to continue where they left off. Improving ad-break controls with accessible buttons, keyboard-friendly navigation, clear labels, and reliable playback behavior can create a smoother and more inclusive experience for everyone.

Gatekeeping basic quality of life features behind paid subs is a bad business practice and will actively drive away users from your platform!

I am in 100% support of this. No one should feel pressured into paying monthly to be able to enjoy Twitch.

Seconding this and what ItsMondayMoon commented. There are so many ways that this can go wrong, and for what gain?

Ads that can't be tabbed out will keep more people away from streams and thus make Twitch less money. Given that animated emotes can already be paused as an accessibility feature, forcing people to risk watching flashing light adverts also shouldn't be allowed.
