Allow for better communication with real humans to appeal false bans/suspensions
I have now two people I personally know that have gotten banned by bot accounts or just dummy accounts for reasons that are obviously untrue, and I have definite proof for one as I was present for their entire stream, and I know exactly what happened their entire stream.
These people are both dating each other and I'm very certain they were deliberately targeted as one got suspended two weeks ago, and the other today. They've also dealt with bigoted people saying hateful words (who are probably the ones reporting them). The one I was present in their stream I was told her reason was for hacking someone on stream, which she did absolutely no such thing. She was streaming Fallout: New Vegas which has a hacking minigame, but it doesn't do anything of that sort. The other one was for "violent threats" which all they did was say something that was clearly a joke.
I was informed by the latter person that they did contact support, but it resulted in nothing. I cannot even contact support on their behalf as they only deal directly with the people who got suspended, but if one is claiming nothing came out of contacting them; why even have a live chat?
You've seriously got to do more to start allowing users a way to directly contact people over suspensions as this troll reporting is nothing new, and I can see others mentioning the same exact thing, with zero response from anyone here. This type of thing ruins lives. It's hurting small streamers who are marginalized and trying to make something here. These trolls know your appeal system is really bad and/or that most people will give up after the automated appeal in the first place, and they're forced to move to platforms that are far more hostile to them.

Sadly when the 'live chat' and e-mails are powered by AI, along with the ban/appeal system, we are all ******...
Putting the power into trolls/multiaccounters ahead of streamers who stream for a living, nice move Twitch!

All it takes is one bad actor to trigger a system meant for protection and turn it into a tool for exclusion. Marginalized creators are disproportionately targeted by coordinated harassment designed to exploit moderation algorithms and silence their voices. Whether it's a hate raid or a wave of false reports, no one should have to fight this alone.

It's awful to see marginalized individuals repeatedly be treated like this...

We know the CEO of Twitch has favorites and they won't fix it otherwise they would have to make some legalese that says
"Oh we can ban you and IF we tell you why you cant sue us when you lose everything."

This is a broken system on Twitch that needs to be fixed and heavily regulated in order to prevent situations like these from happening.

This is terrible. Kaz is a sweetheart that often lurks in my streams and checks in and say "hi."
