Possibility to report the "Artist" tagged, for going against the DMCA instead of other channels.
I am an Artist that makes Emotes and other graphic related stuff, for people on Twitch. I keep seeing how specific profiles steals mine and other Artists works repeatedly, and says it is theirs. We are all tired of running after x amounts of streamer channels on Twitch, contact them, and explain to them that they are using our works without permissions, and that it doesn't belong to the "Artist" they tagged. It is tiresome and infuriating, since it doesn't always end well.
Sure, we could fill a DMCA claim against the channel, but do we really have to go this far against a person who is not at fault, and who was probably fooled too?
Do we have to always give our private data to x channels? Full name and full address? Many people use nicknames for a reason.
That said, I think that when you claim to be the Artist of something, you should be able to 1 prove it, and 2 take responsibility for it.
Please make it possible to report a user that are tagged as the Artist, instead of the channel using the stuff. For verification, original project files are needed.
A thief can never have the original files with the whole work flow. They only have a copy paste image at it's best.
Artist already have a hard time for various reasons. We don't want to see our work being sold (literally) by someone else, claiming it is theirs and packs their pocket money earned with OUR sweat and blood.
Please, we are begging you here. Help us out!
