We’re happy to announce that we have released an additional update to address these concerns. Streamers can now prevent their banned users from watching their livestreams. You can find and turn on this feature in the Moderation settings section of the Creator Dashboard, through the “Stop banned users from viewing stream” toggle.
Please note, this update 1). does not prevent users from watching livestreams from an incognito window or while logged out and 2). does not prevent users from viewing VODs, clips or highlights. We plan to explore extending the functionality of bans further, including but not limited to preventing VOD and clip playback.
In addition, we’ve made an update so that users that are blocked will now automatically be blocked from watching a streamer’s livestreams.
We will leave this thread open for your other points regarding preventing view of other content types and account creation.

I think that, like someone else also wrote, that Twitch has to support the user viewer too, since often they are victim of power abuse of streamers and moderators. BUT, now my question, if someone is really rude to you, does power abuse and all, and they ban you with ID ban, why would you even care?
No one who is a victim of someone, would want to keep supporting them, or going back to them. So what's the point? Why do you want to keep watching their stream?Let me tell you, the world is full of mean people, but what do we do? Should we go hiding ourself in the bedroom, and don't talk to anyone anymore? Why do I have to stay away from the internet, if I am not the problem, but you? How about people just starting behaving properly, so everyone can stay together? In my opinion, if you can not behave on the internet, than maybe it is you who should stay away from the internet.
I know women streamers who are being stalked, should they abandon their jobs because of some trash? Hiding in a bunker? H3ll no!Shinomiya_s

I understand your motivations, but for me it would be ****. Because as a Mod, I often watch streams without not logging in, because I want my peace, and because I saw that more people are using a bot which calls out lurkers in chat. Like greeting ppl who are in the viewer list, but haven't written yet. It is really annoying, and sometimes I want to enjoy a content by keeping my privacy, and without feeling obligated to talk or log in.
Btw, I said "as a mod", because I follow streamers who are in the same circle of those I mod, and if people see me in a channel but not in another, the drama starts.
BUT I would definitely go for it for a banned user. Also wrote this in another suggestion, Banned users not only shouldn't be able to write in chat, but also not being able to watch the stream or see the viewer list. -

Hi, thanks for flagging this and sharing your suggestion.
We share and understand your concerns about how the intentional, repeated misuse of tags can undermine the purpose of the tags product itself. Tags are an important discoverability feature for communities, and a powerful way for all Creators—but especially those that are underrepresented—to express their personal identity and creative vision for their content.
We also do not feel Twitch should be the judge of Creators’ personal or creative identity, so we typically only enforce against the misuse of tags when it is associated with other behavior that violates our Community Guidelines such as hateful conduct or harassment.
That said, as the VTuber community’s experience demonstrates, there are limitations to this approach and we are actively investigating additional steps we can take to protect and improve the integrity of the tags feature at scale, without infringing on good faith Creators’ personal choice…

There is a huge problem in your suggestion, an that is the privacy of people. Not all countries work the same, in some it might work, in some other not because it goes against the law.
About the Phone verification, if you mean it only for streamers, ok, but not for users. -

I agree. I would suggest that there should be also a limit of how many channels someone can mod. Because people who mod for 40 channels, which is not possible for a human to do properly, do it for attention and power, means they abuse their power, and it is something I see all the time.

I also agree. It is definitely needed. Like instead of just adding them, the User will get a request with a notification first, and they have to accept or decline it. If they decline it, the user should also get the possibility to block/ all the requested from the Streamer they declined/ the streamer can not add them again until the user doesn't unblock the request from that channel.

I totally agree. I myself am struggling with mods who abuse their power, and lash out on users just because they didn't greet them personally. Calling them names and whatever, and also never listen to me when I give them modding directions. Things like don't make an !so one after another, or not for people who don't stream. Moderators are no perfect being, and when something happens, it will look bad on the other mods too, who are doing their job properly. Moderators urgently need to be moderated.
Not being able to delete at least your own whispers on Twitch, is a big hole in the security for all users' privacy. I don't understand why Twitch is so eager to keep them forever. I would appreciate it if they change it soon.
