(Option) Animated emotes to work when mouse over
Have an option client side so the viewer can choose to only have an animated emote animate, when the mouse is over it.
Could help with emote spam as well as those who are sensitive.

I hope Twitch does something, because it is becoming unbearable.
The extremly flashy emotes are the worst. Even though it goes against Twitch Emote rules, when reporting nothing happens... For photosensitive people and those who suffer from Epilepsy, Twitch has become inaccessible... -

yes, this would be very helpful. I often feel left out because I can't see the animated emotes, but having them activated triggers migraines and are very stressful. this would be perfect for sensitive people!!

This was my first comment when animated emotes were introduced. I'm photosensitive, and a chat full of dancing color changing parrots makes me nauseous. Sadly, a chat full of dancing color changing parrots is also really fun, and so many animated emotes are so creative. I hate missing out on them entirely. If I could just mouse over them to see what they do, it wouldn't even feel like a compromise.
