This was my first comment when animated emotes were introduced. I'm photosensitive, and a chat full of dancing color changing parrots makes me nauseous. Sadly, a chat full of dancing color changing parrots is also really fun, and so many animated emotes are so creative. I hate missing out on them entirely. If I could just mouse over them to see what they do, it wouldn't even feel like a compromise.

A majority of ads on web and TV apps should now have normalized sound. We are still continuing the work on this and will update the status again when it is fully complete!

Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads! These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. I have a chronic illness. It's going to remain a chronic illness.
Having to reselect the 'chronic illness' tag every other stream feels silly and unnecessary, when it is a permanent part of my life and a frequent topic of community discussion.
Even better would be having these identity tags be a separate section that I could set as default, to free up my gameplay or stream style and content tags.
