Sensitive social issues Bullet points need to be removed, not 'clarified'
it doesn't matter how much you 'clarify' the point of the final two bullets, they are not fit for the political category especially when contrasted with the other things in the category. Putting peoples rights in there opens up marginalized groups to hate and bigotry. We want the points REMOVED and twitch's response is completely missing the point the community has been making.
At what point does something go from 'personal experience' to 'too political'? if a streamer talks about their own right to an abortion being taken away where they live, is that personal experience or political? it is entirely subjective. Is a trans person talking about their experiences with HRT 'fact based'? Who determines this? The bigots who will undoubtedly mass report said streamers to shut them up?
"intermittent mentions of (...) sensitive social issues are not required to have the politics and sensitive social issues label" how long is intermittent? most streamers i watch like to have small conversations with chat about social issues, how long can these chats go on for?
I don't understand why you refuse to just take out the 'Sensitive social issues' point. It's what the user base is asking you to do and it is the right thing to do.

I am going to continue to exist, the question is where? You proclaimed this platform to be safe for the LGBTQIA2S what happened?

The fact the first one was shut down shows how utterly cowardly Twitch is.

The problem with the 'clarification' to the policy is it's a subjective clause then, which means that enforcement will be at the whim of the enforcer. And there's no way to tell the difference between a 'lived experience' or not.
Take someone that struggled with various sexualities through their life while they searched out what felt right. Are they forbidden to talk about anything but their most current or can the gay man still talk about their life as a straight man? Or the asexual talk about differences from being bi?
And that's not even getting into more complex topics, those are the SIMPLE examples.

C'est inadmissible ! C'est TRÈS insultant pour les communautés LGBTQIA+, les gens ne sont pas des problématiques, encore moins "sensibles", encore moins des sujets qu'il faut "flag".
Ça doit être supprimé, PAS précisé !

I legit hope the people that came up with this ridiculous idea is ******* fired. LGBT+ people are not a ******* senstitive political topic, and talking about their struggles and rights shouldn't come with a ******* disclaimer on the stream, christ.

Well congrats, Twitch, you got what you so clearly were preparing for tonight. Looks like I'll never be using your website again, since the hate that you've eagerly platformed and refuse to curb is no doubt about to intensify even further. My subs will not be renewed.

Well, twitch seems to have made their point pretty clear. We LGBTQ+ people are to be labeled and ostracized and thus my support of 14 years (I've been around since Justin TV) of this website will end now and I will never again use their services. What is worse is that they deleted the post from the front page to hide it while linking to a tweet saying it's context dependent, when 95% of the time you have problems we've NEVER been able to get in contact with a real person to resolve our issues. Well ******** twitch. I hope you'll crash and burn for the actively harmful policies you've allowed and defended

So because I'm just a supporter of these people whose existence you're trying to make into a sensitive or political topic and it's not my lived experience, you're telling me that I can't support the on my stream without using this tag? Go to ****, Twitch. These are not political issues, these are not sensitive issues, these are people's ******* human rights. They're fundamental, not sensitive or political. Anyone involved in drafting this bigoted policy needs to quit in shame.

Allowing this to happen is a slope coated in astroglide.
A lot of your demographic are part of the LGBT+ community. Are you really going to ********* over to make the few anti-lgbt+ babies happy?
Human rights are not "sensitive topics".

You completely missed the point the first time, so I'll try to be more clear. Our lives are not "sensitive political issues". Our lives are lives, just like yours. To put us in a special category is called discrimination, and it's unacceptable. Stop sitting on the ******* fence. Stop kowtowing to ******* bigots. Ban those ******** from the platform instead.

This is not clarification, this is just more mealy-mouthed refusal to commit to doing the right thing. Stop enabling hate because you think it'll make you more money. Step up and protect the people who need it.

Stop dancing around the issue, Twitch. The stark truth is that LGBTQ+ people are in danger on your platform, and by refusing to enact policies that unequivocally support them and create consequences for those who harass them, you are making yourself part of the problem. Put yourself on the right side of history and actually HELP people who need it, for once.

Just because some people get butthurt that trans and gay people exist doesn't make their existance political. It makes the butthurt people biggots.

If they gave a flying **** about us, they'd actually listen and remove it completely. All they "clarified" is that they don't care and will continue to do whatever the **** they want.
I will reiterate again: Our existence is not political. Our lives are not up for debate.
Even if they truly only care about the money, they would NOT be able to make any money with all the discrimination lawsuits that are about to pile down on them.
So they're just being completely ignorant; whether willingly or not. -

Even if the clarification was clear it isn't binding and can easily be changed, removal of the mentioned bullet points is the only right move
