Sensitive social issues Bullet points need to be removed, not 'clarified'
it doesn't matter how much you 'clarify' the point of the final two bullets, they are not fit for the political category especially when contrasted with the other things in the category. Putting peoples rights in there opens up marginalized groups to hate and bigotry. We want the points REMOVED and twitch's response is completely missing the point the community has been making.
At what point does something go from 'personal experience' to 'too political'? if a streamer talks about their own right to an abortion being taken away where they live, is that personal experience or political? it is entirely subjective. Is a trans person talking about their experiences with HRT 'fact based'? Who determines this? The bigots who will undoubtedly mass report said streamers to shut them up?
"intermittent mentions of (...) sensitive social issues are not required to have the politics and sensitive social issues label" how long is intermittent? most streamers i watch like to have small conversations with chat about social issues, how long can these chats go on for?
I don't understand why you refuse to just take out the 'Sensitive social issues' point. It's what the user base is asking you to do and it is the right thing to do.

Forcing marginalized communities who have these tags to justify their existence in a political way when many of these creators have absolutely nothing to do with politics at all (aside from being a member of some community you have decided to discriminate against here) is absolutely disgusting. It just serves to capitulate to bigots on the platform.

The inconsistent application of the tags and the politicization of the mere existence of marginalized people as a policy is disgusting and will only serve to bolster bigots who are using social issues as a cudgel against their perceived enemies

Why is twitch discriminating based on gender, race, religion, and nationality?

Completely broken system that only serves to punish marginalised folks for having their existence politicised by baby brained chronically online freaks

Stop capitulating to people who want to see Twitch destroyed. You have a ton of smaller streamers being hurt by the changes undergone. Do actual work and understand why this is being done and brigaded on social media.
You are penalizing people for their identity. Its literally hateful conduct.

Demonetizing people for having a tag related to their ethnicity IS DISCRIMINATION. I smell a lawsuit brewing. The Islamophobia that Twitch has been showing and enacting lately is revolting.
Bowing your head and capitulating to the racism of the community of someone who you banned for stochastic terrorism against BLM protestors is insane. Capitulating to known trolls with petty grudges is wild. Do better.

Twitch's kneejerk reaction to a smear campaign is putting thousands of streamers' livelihoods at risk. The lack of care is astounding. Please fix this.

I wholeheartedly agree with this and Twitch needs to not paint the entire streamer community with such broad strokes.

These new rules were a response to a smear campaign started by people who aren't even on the platform and use lies to get people banned

I agree with this, and I dislike that Twitch gives ground to a smear campaign even though after this they continue with it

Great recommendations. Twitch should do a better job of investigating claims.

You're hurting streamers and your own ad revenue by utilizing these tools to demonitize marginalized streamers and streamers of color. Twitch has to do better, the current solution is not working at all.

I agree with this user voice. The smear campaign was done by bad faith actors and is effecting people like members of Faze Clan for NO reason other than their nationality. It's disappointing.

This is disgusting. You are literally politicizing people's mere existence for being THEM, and punishing them for it. Antisemitism IS a real problem in real life and online. But it's being perpetuated by over compensations such as this by companies and talking heads who then fire indiscriminately at people who are already marginalized and NOT BEING ANTI SEMITIC. Demonetizing streamers who have "the wrong tags" (like 'Iran') without notice? Without a warning? AND ALSO STILL PLAYING THE ADS SO YOU'RE GETTING YOUR CUT OF THE PROFIT?????? Disgusting. peepoSpit
