Require all Twitchcon partners to provide drink covers at events
After the events that have been described at the Blerp VIP event, Twitch should take their safety further and demand partners or anyone with a booth on the convention floor that hosts a party offsite should be REQUIRED to provide drink covers.
It is a simple solution to a problem that happens almost every single year Twitchcon takes place. This will help and support creators who may feel a bit safer knowing measures have been taken to protect them.
Is this full-proof? No. But it is a step in the right direction for Twitch to take in order to provide safer environments for creators.
If companies want to use Twitchcon as a point of contact for creators, then extra measures should be taken offsite for people to feel supported and safe.
