The Issue with the Hot Tub Meta
Recently in the twitch community, there has been a rise of hot tub streamers also known as the "Hot Tub Meta". This has been a very controversial issue but I'm going to give my thoughts on the issue and hopefully twitch will do something about this. On twitch TOS it's stated "Content or camera focus on breasts, buttocks, or pelvic region, including poses that deliberately highlight these elements". This means any sort of content that deliberately does these would be against TOS. Now when we look at how the Hot Tub Meta we can see that it's unhealthy and unfair to the community. When I was looking through some of the streams a streamer called "Kaellyn" had their butt covering half the screen which I would assume is against TOS but nowadays it's hard to tell. Although the whole stream isn't just that it was obvious that she did to satisfy her chat. Another example is the popular streamer "Amouranth" who lets their viewers donate money to get their name written on many things the most common one being floaty. Just tuning into the chat for a few minutes I saw many twitch users send very questionable things such as "Show feet Kreygasm" "Show your booty" "Change bikini" and many more things. Constantly messages were being deleted by mods because they were either offensive or very ***. Another issue is the fact that it's clear that these streams are *** but the streamers don't even care to put the stream to mature just to get more people. This means that many kids can easily just go onto these streams and see big booba's. It's clear that this issue has gotten out of hand and that it needs to be stopped. My final thoughts are that although this stuff is "content" I don't think it's healthy or fair to the community and streamers to continue letting these streams go on. I think streamers should be able to be creative with their content as well. Hopefully twitch will something about this. Thank you for reading.

ok so here is my proposal! make a new site tgirls.tv maybe? twitchx.tv? twitchadult.tv? this is seriously damaging for the youth and you must take accountability! ban hot tub streams it is stripping there is no difference! i am cancelling my subscription and i am furthermore going to attempt to start a petition i and 1000's feel this way. and not just girls boys too. all boys should have an entire top on. and here are the following reasons why:
1) it promotes sexism.
2) it promotes gender dysmorphia.
3) it is Terrible for small streamers.
4) it is against some cultures and religious beliefs
5) it is terrible for peoples mental health. (streamer and viewer)
6) there are plenty of forums that exist such as onlyfans where they can achieve the same result but they are abusing twitchs popularity!
7) it promotes body dysmorphia and promotes quite frankly unattainable body shapes for the majority of women. -

Adult channel that you have to pay per month to view, my fear is that your age lvl at 13yrs is so low that kids will copy what they see. It wont be long you'll have kids 13yrs in bathing suits trying to copy adults in chat that they see in hot tubs. One streamer I watched she's (28) years old said " She needs to get a hot tub to keep up with everyone else." because her numbers are dropping off. Maybe even set up a kids chat server just for them and have someone watching it 24/7 to keep them safe. Maybe even have them go through a class in what not to say in chat or get tricked in to telling. Would you feel it's ok for your child to stream this way?

Please give us an option to either completely deactive channel recommendations
or at least an option to get rid of all those intrusive/annoying cam girls.
I don't mind NSFW or mature content, but I really don't need to see a bunch of boob girls "recommended to me". -

I was suggested a broadcast that had ****** content of the content creator in a bikini in a bathtub. I do not want ****** content recommended to me. I then clicked on the three dots and selected 'not interested.' On the left side panel I could still see that channel highlighted bc it was live. So i clicked on it and then reported the content. After reporting, you have the option to block the channel, which i clicked on. There is a message that confirms the blocking. After closing the reporting pop-up, I am redirected to my twitch homepage, but the stream with the ****** content was still being played in a minimized display. Expected behavior: nothing related to a blocked channel is shown to me.

I keep clicking "Not interested" on these tiddy streamers every time, and every day you find more tiddy streamers to push on my front page. Stop doing that. I only watch music and gaming on this site, so this must be some hypocritical way for you to milk money from simps.

I had the same issue. Do to the window of your stream, click on the three dots, and click on 'Show Stream Info'.

Hi, could you stop recommending me streamers that the only thing they do is show their *** and **** to fool their viewers, thanks. This is not CHATURBATE, I just want to enjoy twitch without having to worry about girls who just show their bodies without creating any content and nothing else. EXAMPLE gonsabellla USER

Good evening,
First of all, my name is Matheus, I am 27 years old and I live in Brazil.
Recently, I realized that Twitch unfairly supported women with inappropriate conduct, abusing the terms and guidelines that Twitch himself says he respects. One of the most recent examples LITERALLY showed her lower private parts live to hundreds of thousands of users. As a result of her actions, she took only "3 days of banishment". Meanwhile, male streamers who say "Mongoloid", "Megazord" and other words that, according to Twitch, are targeted at people as an offense, can be banned from weeks of life. Where is the balance between justice and honor? Twitch is compatible with feminism, so it has a "double standard" between "digital influencers" and streamers. I would really like to know what Twitch thinks about it. Turn your platform into a pornographic site geared towards “Female Entertainment”, or play in the face of all the men who are the feminist women who run the platform, or that we must create a new platform that TRULY has gender equality because they don't want to know more about ethics, respect, honor, and equality?
With that, I would like to know about your sincere opinions and what we will do with this matter.
Admin Edit: Please do not target specific users

As a streamer I use ModView now on my second screen. However, if it's running before I hot go live, the video starts and chat works and everything but I don't see the viewer count. If I refresh the page I then see the viewer count. Please can you fix this so that the viewer count can be seen in this scenario without a page refresh?

If a small streamer wants to get noticed, how about they put their nose to the grindstone and actually work hard for their viewers/follows/subs. Jobs don't just hand people promotions on a plate and neither should Twitch.

Maybe is suggested that Twitch add a new feature to sort streams by Time, Amount of Viewers, Hot etc. as it will help small streamers to get more views and attention easily cuz most small streamers nowadays found themselves hard to stand out among the community in the way how Twitch sort streams. I hope Twitch will implement this feature in the future as I'm sure that it will benefits small streamers like me to get more attention~

The new App is a hot mess of over-reaching functions that do not in any way improve viewer experience. The move from a a simple streaming platform into a hybrid of social media/streaming is mistake that I simply cannot get understand. There are better social media platforms out there and it feels like Twitch has played to its weaknesses instead of its strengths. This could easily be solved with increased customizibility.
