The Issue with the Hot Tub Meta
Recently in the twitch community, there has been a rise of hot tub streamers also known as the "Hot Tub Meta". This has been a very controversial issue but I'm going to give my thoughts on the issue and hopefully twitch will do something about this. On twitch TOS it's stated "Content or camera focus on breasts, buttocks, or pelvic region, including poses that deliberately highlight these elements". This means any sort of content that deliberately does these would be against TOS. Now when we look at how the Hot Tub Meta we can see that it's unhealthy and unfair to the community. When I was looking through some of the streams a streamer called "Kaellyn" had their butt covering half the screen which I would assume is against TOS but nowadays it's hard to tell. Although the whole stream isn't just that it was obvious that she did to satisfy her chat. Another example is the popular streamer "Amouranth" who lets their viewers donate money to get their name written on many things the most common one being floaty. Just tuning into the chat for a few minutes I saw many twitch users send very questionable things such as "Show feet Kreygasm" "Show your booty" "Change bikini" and many more things. Constantly messages were being deleted by mods because they were either offensive or very ***. Another issue is the fact that it's clear that these streams are *** but the streamers don't even care to put the stream to mature just to get more people. This means that many kids can easily just go onto these streams and see big booba's. It's clear that this issue has gotten out of hand and that it needs to be stopped. My final thoughts are that although this stuff is "content" I don't think it's healthy or fair to the community and streamers to continue letting these streams go on. I think streamers should be able to be creative with their content as well. Hopefully twitch will something about this. Thank you for reading.

The emergence of the "Hot Tub Meta" on Twitch has sparked controversy, raising questions about adherence to Twitch's Terms of Service (TOS) and appropriateness for diverse audiences, including younger viewers. Twitch's TOS guidelines on body-focused content and community standards aim to maintain a safe platform. More on https://pakebill.com/iesco-bill/. Issues such as inappropriate chat interactions and potential exposure to younger audiences highlight the importance of responsible content categorization by streamers. While creative freedom is crucial, a balance must be struck to uphold platform integrity. Community feedback plays a vital role, urging Twitch to consider policy adjustments to ensure transparency, consistency, and effective moderation. This ongoing debate emphasizes the need for Twitch to navigate content diversity while fostering a secure and inclusive streaming environment.

It's very clear ever since they introduced the hot tub category along with bits and subs that they've been aiming to become a softcore Chaturbate. This "content" has no right existing on a platform meant for gaming and creating art, let alone for anyone under 18 since the site allows MINORS 13+.

The rise of "Hot Tub Meta" and similar content on Twitch has indeed been a subject of controversy within the streaming community and among viewers. It's clear that there are concerns about whether these streams adhere to Twitch's Terms of Service (TOS) and whether they are appropriate for a wide audience, including younger viewers. Here are some points to consider regarding this issue:
Twitch TOS: You correctly mentioned that Twitch's TOS includes guidelines about content that focuses on certain body parts. These guidelines are in place to ensure a safe and inclusive platform for all viewers. It's essential for Twitch to enforce these rules consistently.
Viewer Interactions: The messages and comments in the chat can sometimes be inappropriate or objectify streamers. Twitch has community guidelines to address this issue, and it's crucial for moderators to actively moderate chats to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
Age Restrictions: If streamers do not classify their content as mature, there is a concern that younger viewers might stumble upon these streams, which can be considered inappropriate. Streamers should take responsibility and ensure their streams are properly categorized.
Content Creativity: While it's important to allow streamers creative freedom, it's also vital to strike a balance between creativity and maintaining the integrity of the platform. Twitch should encourage diverse content while ensuring it respects community guidelines.
Community Feedback: Many of these concerns have been raised by the Twitch community. It's essential for Twitch to listen to the feedback from both viewers and content creators and consider adjustments to its policies if necessary.
Twitch has faced similar issues in the past and has taken steps to clarify its policies and enforce them more rigorously. However, the platform often walks a fine line between allowing for content diversity and maintaining a safe and inclusive environment. It's up to Twitch to address this issue and decide on how to balance these competing interests. More on https://fescoonlinebillcheck.pk/
Ultimately, the ongoing debate about the "Hot Tub Meta" and similar content underscores the need for transparency, consistency, and effective moderation on the platform to ensure that all users, regardless of age or background, can enjoy their Twitch experience. Twitch should continue to engage with the community and refine its policies as necessary to maintain a healthy and fair streaming environment.

It's beyond out of hand at this point. Every day there's a hot tub or yoga streamer wearing bikini's with garters, which is lingerie; which is literally the equivalent of underwear. It's blatantly violating TOS yet nothing is done. I won't be allowing my children or nephews and nieces on the site until the sexual content is gone.
Bikinis in a hot tub or on a beach is okay, if they are sitting down in the hot tub and not standing up, up in the camera blatantly showing their assets. Restricting it to a certain age won't work either, because children are notorious for lying about their age on signups.
How is this even up for debate? The sexual content needs to go.

This doesn't belong on Twitch now, specially with you guys caving into the likes of Poki and other top streamers threatening to strike over the Gambling fiasco.
Especially after the VTuber tag fiasco and the ******** act too. If you want to clean up your sites reputation, this stuff needs to go. If Amazon (parent) wants to have something like that on a site, go make a different site exclusively made for that stuff.
It does not belong here in my eyes, or in the eyes of many who have been here for years!
It also doesn't help the fact I've seen this literally on the top of front page in the past without ever going into the section myself.
Any 13+ year old (or younger that shouldn't be on the site) could very easily be exposed to this kind of thing. And for those thinking oh he's one of THOSE kind of people, I'm not.
That **** belongs on PornHub, not Twitch

If we are to ban slot gambling then we should be getting rid of hot tub streaming and people who are almost completely naked for money

Not allowed to be on Twitch under 13? Just enter the Twitch url on any browser and here we go. You are in. It is not restricted at all! To be registered, to have an own account, is "restricted" people under 13...but you have just to say, that you are 13+ (or like 25) and that's it. You are in.
And 18+ is also not really a restriction. It is only a warning. "Take care, you could see or hear things for adults". And that's it.
And nowdays, they even not going into the hot tub in, so they just sitting around in bikini. And even worst...they do not appear on screen. Only if X amount of subs were dropped. So...most of the time, they are not even visible. Like a h oo ker. If you pay, I show myself.

not being funny but what the actual **** is twitch coming too with the entire hot tubs thing its disturbing that kids as young as 13 years old are allowed to be on twitch and have full access to watching women in bikinis doing whatever with wardrobe malfunctions and stuff then i just jump onto my account 10 minutes ago and see someone who was recommended too me to watch who clearly does that category of stream as there is a hot tub in the background but she has it down as just chatting and is fully naked above the waist with paint all over her. IT NEEDS TO STOP PLEASE REMOVE THE CATEGORY FOR GOOD!!!!!!!!!! i have reported the streamer like 5 minutes ago for it and hope they get banned for life. not being funny i am a streamer myself and have put 6 long years hard work into my channel and got practically nowhere and that category is not something us small streamers want to compete with as its not ******* fair if i sat with my top off on stream being a guy id get an instant ban for break TOS rules so stop breaking your own rules twitch sort it the **** out please!!!!!!!!!!

its literally softcore p*rn................. kids can just say theyre 18..... why does twitch want this so badly to be on their platform???

Twitch was a gaming streaming service that has gotten distracted with variety. Just talking for IRL streams should've been the limit of variety beyond games. It is wildly unsafe for kids coming to twitch to watch games when there is a vast amount of half naked girls being allowed to stream and flaunt their bodies on twitch. This is also wildly unfair to other creators with the lack of ability to do so. While twitch used to support creators by creating equality among them through ToS rules, now if you have a nice body and a hot tub and are female, youll dominate on twitch. This is literally softcore P*rn. This is wildly against what twitch used to be and stand for. Now we have half naked women licking their mics and placating to PRIMAL urges in males to watch naked women. This section needs to be removed immediately and people should again rely on genuine content for their streams, and not flaunting their bodies.

"Permanently ban every streamer that streams on twitch hot tubs that doesnt have their stream set as 18+"
This does not helps anything! Anybody who is able to click off the warning is in the stream in 1 sec. Only a more strickt registration (ID card, address, real name, phone number) could be the solution. And then if you are under 18, those mature streams will be not even listed for the kids.
And imagine...if the hot tub stream is not an adult content by Twitch, and not against the rules (not porn, not even soft porn), then it is ok that your 13 years old daughter do the same "content" on Twitch. Is it ok? What you think?

Twitch is for Gamers and creative people. But with the Hot Tub section twitch goes the wrong way! Twitch should remove the section and BAN streams like this from this platform. This is not a **** platform and the people that are streaming this hot tub stuff should go to other platforms. It's unbelievable that this got a place here at our beloved gaming and creative platform!
