Limit Simultaneous Logins
Limit the number of streams/chats that a single account can be logged into simultaneously. I've noticed that there are a lot of bot-accounts that appear in EVERYONE's chat rooms, but never as viewers. These accounts seem highly suspicious, and I personally would feel better if they were no longer able to "infect" twitch with their frivolous logging of every chat's activities. Besides the fact that the chat replies from Twitch could be used as cheap DDoS source, they could also be exploiting the chats to infect their users in some way.
I think that a limit of 10 chats/streams for a normal user would be way more than enough for any one person. And for any known bots that need to be in multiple chats at once; an option to allow them could be put into the channel settings for the streamer to permit them on a per bot basis.

1. Just leave the bots alone. They are not hurting you.
2. They might still be viewers, even if they do not obviously contribute to your viewer count.
3. Please be aware that these "bots" as you call them do not need to be signed in and make their presence known to do whatever it is that they are doing.
4. I am a viewer who regularly has hundreds of channels open at once. I do this for my own convenience. I do not turn the computer off, either. If I am tired, I just go to sleep leaving the channels I was watching last open. I don't appreciate being banned. Would you really want to ban me for lurking in your channel and deny yourself the associated ad revenue? (from what I'm told, that's about ~30 cents every ten minutes, but don't quote me on it)
