add a feature to hide or remove mass join bots from chatter lists.
There has been much talk on the r/Twitch reddit regarding the large amount of mass join bots. These bots, although they haven't broken a rule, are quite annoying to many people. Especially the ones that randomly follow/unfollow during a stream just trying to get attention.
I believe many people would really appreciate some sort of a feature like /hide NAME that will remove the username from the chatter list and possibly block them from following. If it is indeed a bot there is no harm done.
Me han empezado a seguir aproximadamente 35 bots y no sé cómo eliminarlos
To add to this - I think anyone creating a bot should have to register them with twitch as a bot (if this isn't happening yet) and by registering them they will have a "BOT" tag added next to their name. Then streamers should have an option if to allow them in the chat (list) or not, and bots will not get randomly gifted subs. If a bot doesn't get registered as a bot and they are acting like one (are in massive amounts of channels) they will get an email notification that they must register (or appeal and show proof it isn't a bot account) or will be banned from twitch
Pelase do. They are annoying.
Yes, PLEASE. Why aren't opt-in?

You should have to approve which bots can be in your channel.
There are 16 of these bots that i have confirmed that come in and do this type of thing OP has mentioned. While all 16 are not always in my chat i do see them pop in and out all the time and it's the same ones. According to some of the profiles they claim to help small streamers and they are not truly helping but forcing a bot into a channel the streamer/owner never asked for. While some have a command to make it leave it still comes back! One of the bots I noticed is from a partner streamer who claims his bot shows streams on his 60 inch tv in another room that he never watches. The partner is normally live for 16+ hours a day and getting views because of the invasive bot.
I agree if someone is not good enough to be a +1 to the view count... they should not be a +1 to the to viewer list.
Especially if they will be able to be gifted subs via community gifting, that is just not right.

In my opinion, if someone is banned from a channel, there's no reason they should show up in the viewer list. They're clearly not wanted in that stream, so their presence shouldn't even be mentioned.
It's also incredibly unfair that they can get gifted subs when someone donates subs, therefore taking away from someone more deserving. There's even a bot now called letsseehowmanygiftedsubsicanget or something similar.
