1. Collectibles Using Loyalty Points As Currency

   The set up would be an affiliate/partner would be able to create a collectible series of emotes/cards etc that their viewers could then spend loyalty points on purchasing packs that have a random selection of the collectibles inside.

   Once a viewer has completed the series, they are able to prestige the collection and advance the grade by collecting the same emotes/cards again but more of them in order to progress to a grade that is a higher collection and each collection completed could earn the viewer a badge.

   The idea behind this is to increase the incentive of a viewer's stay by earning more points to collect more and to earn better badges

2. Loyalty Reward Send Private Message (Whisper)

   I have a loyalty reward where people can redeem "codes" to enter for giveaways but I have to manually fill the orders, it would be great if you can set a default short message that gets sent to the redeemer as a whisper so I can auto deliver information/codes/redeemable verbal messages to the person who redeems privately and instantly for automation.

3. Channel Points Command

   I would like to see Twitch implement a Channel Points command. For example "/cp **" where ** is the name of the reward.

   We make extensive use of the Channel Points system and have about 40 rewards. Our regulars have said that it is sometimes difficult to find the reward they are looking for in a timely manner in order to affect what happens on-stream through a 3rd party application called Lioran Board.

   Channel Points are a great tool for viewer engagement, but the method of finding a reward needs to be easy and streamlined. Not clunky and inconvenient. Otherwise usage, and in turn engagement, goes down.

4. API for channel reward redemption

   People are suggesting an API for channel points, and initially it seems like a good idea, but a forum post I saw elsewhere explained the privacy concerns of being able to track channel points through an API. But instead of an API for channel points, what if we were able to link REDEMPTION of channel points rewards to an API, and additionally create native Twitch commands that configure channel points acquisition rates and conditions (ie. active chatters vs lurkers or 10 points/5 minutes default vs 20 points/5 minutes default), as well as give streamers the ability to add or remove points similarly to their ability to do so with bots (and these same commands can be used automatically by local chat bots with the necessary permissions run by the streamer)?

   The reason I'm suggesting this is that giving streamers, or anyone else, the power to monitor channel points thus gives them the power to track the behavior of any user they choose, especially if they can monitor points in every channel that user watches. That is a MASSIVE breach in privacy! But with an API that basically alerts a bot every time a channel points reward is redeemed, what the redeemed reward was, and who redeemed it, channel points can become a more effective replacement for the localized points systems included with chat bots. These points would still be housed on Twitch and the amounts kept private from other users, but we would now become able to coordinate channel points rewards with a chat bot's response if we wanted to.

   The channel points settings, on the other hand, would operate as they would with any chat bot, except they'd be native to Twitch instead of the localized chat bot. This would also not include an ability to query channel points, in case you were wondering, because there's no need for anyone other than the user who's accumulating those points to know how many points they have (which they can see at the bottom of chat). If they decide to share their total channel points, they can say it in chat, themself.

5. Introduce a channel badge that can be upgraded with Channel Points.

   Having a channel-specific badge that viewers can display could be a great way to allow users to flaunt long-term viewership in a channel. Similar to the way that a channel-specific bit badge operates, viewers could choose to invest Channel Points in to this badge which would upgrade to a fancier version at whatever cutoff points Twitch decides upon. This can also serve as a good catch-all purpose Channel Points redemption for channels that don't have or want extensive Channel Point options available.

6. Setting to make channel points earned for chatting in the chat box instead or in conjunction with watching.

   I get a lot of times where viewers lurk and don't chat, yet they earn enough points and want to use the points but they never actually watched my stream till they earn points. I would rather have people who actively watch and chat earn the points instead!

   There is a bug where the contribution to a channel points community challenge will be shown in chat several times (like 50 times) so that you cannot see the rest of the chat.

   There really are very few incentives to subscribe to streamers channels and the rewards that you receive for watching are minimal. Similar to Mixer, viewers should somehow be able to spend their viewing points to help streamers boost their bit earnings.

10. Channel Point Multipliers

    The point multipliers have recently changed so that it is fairer that if you are paying for a higher tier sub, you receive a higher multiplier. Unfortunately, as opposed to increasing the multiplier for higher-tiered, lower tiers had their multipliers drastically lowered to the point of not really being that different from a non-subscriber. Idk how it may look from the pov of Twitch Staff, but from a user, getting 12 points for passive watch time and 60 points for an active watch time bonus while a non-subscriber gets 10 and 50 points respectively just doesn't seem that fair. When the higher-tiered subs came out, it was initially designed for users who wanted to support streamers at a higher level (and as such a higher percentage of the subscription price would go to the streamer), but it has since been made fairer so that they actually are getting more for their money's worth, which was not the original intention of the higher tiers, but I understand it. Support your streamer more and get more from it at the same time.

    I understand why it's plausible to give higher-tiered subs a higher point multiplier but I can't fathom why Twitch would need to take away from regular tier-1 subs in the process. As a subscriber, we are quite literally paying infinitely more than someone who isn't subscribed at all (unless they were gifted). While it makes sense for a higher-tiered sub to have a higher multiplier, it doesn't make sense for the multiplier of a subscriber (formerly 2x, now 1.2x) to be almost identical to someone who isn't subscribed at all (1x). The difference is negligible, and because of that, I'm humbly requesting that the tier-1 multiplier be restored to 2x and if Twitch wants to, they can make a higher multiplier for higher-tiered subs.

11. Gambling Channel Points

    Prior to channel points being a Twitch feature, many streamers decided to use their streaming provider to create a point system and create another source of entertainment on streams. I know that with Streamlabs points you can gamble your points which provides yet another way to entertain yourself on stream. In some streams you could actually type !gamble in chat and streamelements would then reply with a successful or failed gamble doubling or claiming the point amount you gambled, but this may not be viable because it could really clog up chat. I do wish however that there were some gambling games that streamers could enable that would allow us to gamble our points balance. With streamlabs points also, we got points for every gift sub and for a certain amount donated in bits. I like that we now receive points for a monthly donation of bits and gift subs, but it's a lot harder to get points because these are only once a month things and we cannot get more points regardless of how much we donate. It also doesn't help that the multiplier was recently reduced to almost nothing for tier-1 subs.

12. Channel Points for TTS

    Many streamers have a feature where if you donate a certain amount of currency, whether that be bits or the local currency the streamer has setup on their streaming provider, your message will come up on stream and get read aloud by a voice that the streamer can customize. Because there is generally a minimum amount to get this text-to-speech feature (TTS), and it is a big moneymaker for some people, I don't know how many people would use this feature, but I think it would be a good idea to allow channel points to pay for TTS messages. I know of one or two streamers, in particular, that would benefit from this because they use TTS messages to make streams more fun and create content. People now make memes all the time using the feature, it is very entertaining. Unfortunately, I think that there are so many people that would be really good at crafting excellent messages, but they are unable to afford to donate so their messages are never heard. This would be a great outlet for them, and one that I think is realistic. Although it may take some work because Twitch would need to work with the streaming providers on this, it's something that is absolutely possible and should be investigated.

13. Channel points improvements

    A couple of ideas to improve the way channel points work.

    • Ability to group rewards, and possibility to bulk enable or disable them by group / use case would be if the streamer has rewards that are tied to a game, such as selecting a character, so they can easily switch available rewards when they stop playing

    • More API control over channel points (change active and inactive rewards, approve or decline rewards).

    • Possibility to manually reward viewers with channel points, change modifiers for subs / VIPs, etc.

    • Adding possibility to add cooldowns to redemptions

    This would make it much easier for channels to make use of channel points in more creative ways, currently most streamers are using a chat bot for points, and then channel points are almost useless

    I can't see any logic behind the order of my Channel points rewards. It's not ABC or ZYX or 0123 ... nothing like this. Please let us rearrange our rewards, so it's in the order we want to have it.

17. Clarify what a streamer can and can't offer as rewards.

    The Twitch point ToS says "Points cannot otherwise be exchanged for items that have value outside of the website" but i have seen several screenshots of Twitch personnel giving the "OK" for streamers to offer their merch as a reward. If merch Items are allowed it should say it in the ToS.

18. Manual Channel Point Display Order and Hide Chat Message

    I'm in the process of developing a game designed to use channel points (CP) as a means for viewers to interact with it. I however have encountered a couple of minor issues that would be detrimental or unintended side effects of the game due to limitations in the channel point system.

    Firstly, there is no way to order CP rewards manually. Since the CP rewards are the viewers interface and resulting action, it would be much better to have them ordered by type of action rather then the cost of the action. In addition I wanted to use a "NOTES" reward to give the viewer basic information about the game, but in order to make it appear first I have to make it cheaper then all the other actions, which may result in people wasting there CP on something that doesn't do anything.

    Secondly, as implied by the above, CP rewards are the viewers actions in the game, but there is no way to disable the chat message for rewards redemptions, in small to medium channels, this probably isn't going to be too big of an issue, but with the cheapest action currently being 50 points, when you get to 200+ viewers it's going to be a major issue. As such a toggle to not show reward redemption publicly would be nice (the viewer should still see the redemption).

19. Points channel beta without afilliate.

    Dear, you could have a beta channel point system to generate a little more interest in viewers, have only the options of "highlight my message", "send message in slow mode", and limit that the creator can only put 4 custom options, can be used to "choose a game", "choose topic of conversation", "choose any things" (which is within the regulations of Twitch).     When buying things with channel points, it would be nice if the message for whatever (Example: you bought a poll suggestion with the points) was more visible so that it didn't blend in with the rest of the chat.
