Multiple selectable choices which defines what kind of distribution the game have:

Display the user rating you rated for games in lists; would be easier to see which ones you have rated.4 votes
Ability to add game-specific controllers/accessories to their page. For example the guitar in guitar hero games, the camera with Eyetoy games, the dance mat for DDR games and so on. Along with the option to set whether the item is mandatory or not.4 votes
Company logos change with time and many of them do drastic changes. Suggestion to be able to upload more than 1 logo as well as date input accompanying logos.
Also have a nice logo picture timeline where each logo has a 'from' and 'to' date associated.4 votes
Currently if you look at a series collection page, the main games, dlc and expansions are listed, but not standalone expansions.
I think it is hard to find those stand alone expansions from the perspective of trying to find all standalone games in a series and would really like to have them represented.4 votes
(Confirmed in the Pipeline)
After confirming a duplicate listing for deletion, it would be helpful to users that have saved those titles by Following, Saving to Lists or to Played listings to forward those links to the correct page, rather than the "Oops" broken link.4 votes
So shedding some more light onto this.
While we are going to be working on a proper way to remove ‘bad pages, and duplicates’, this project is likely going to come in several phases.
The initial phase is removing the pages form the site, and stop syncing them with the API.
The later phase would be us building tools to automatically swap the game IDs on lists, reviews, etc.. which would take care of this.
Currently, only actual Bundle pages appear to display titles included. It would be helpful if those individual titles also displayed the collections and bundles they are included in.4 votes
Add Brazil and UK region for game release dates, because there are games released specificaly for those regions. Mainly Brazil, because there the Master System and Zeebo consoles have many Brazil only games released.4 votes
Please add the Sinclair ZX81 as a platform. It is the computer that pre-dates the ZX Spectrum and came after the ZX80. It has a few classic games like for example 3D Monster Maze (the first or one of the first first person games).
If available I'd like to add games to that platform (which I own myself) to further complete the IGDB database.3 votes
When using a reference ID field, such as requesting https://api.igdb.com/v4/games/ where release_dates.platform [48,49,6]; as shown in an example in the API docs, the API returns a syntax error "You are trying to compare and exact array with an non array field: platform". This seems to be true of any field which is a reference ID when using this syntax. the array OR syntax (48,49,6) works fine.3 votes
Adding a Full/Partial Controller Support column for titles in the database.
This would be monumental for indexing games that can be played from the couch or not.3 votes
Currently IGDB's release date options don't allow for tracking both a game's initial early access release and the date at which it was declared to be in full release — e.g. Hades was originally released in early access for Windows on 12/6/18 and went into full release for Windows, Mac and Switch on 09/17/20. Currently, there can only be one Windows release date. Not only does this create ambiguity as to which date a page should go with, but ultimately both are valuable information and should be included on the page – there are contexts in which users will want the initial date, there are contexts in which they will want the 1.0 date, and there are contexts in which they will want to compare the two.
If desired, accommodations could be made for additional release date types as well (alpha, beta, multiplayer-only, etc)

This is an excellent suggestion, and in fact something we’ve been wanting to have for a while.
It is in our backlog to indeed allow for more than one release date, early access is a great example but it is also applicable to other game status indeed.
No ETA, but absolutely something we will be looking at in the future!
I find filtering options missing in the results of the Karma Hunters sections.
For example to be able to filter in the section "Missing Covers" by platform, or in the section "Under 25% Information" by "Empty developer", "Empty Publisher", etc ..
Having these filtering options would make easy, and also would encourage users, to fill in missing information3 votes
A dedicated IGDB mobile app would be great however I would settle for your website to be better mobile optimized.3 votes
We actually used to have apps, but our (IGDB) team is quite small we decided to terminate them as we couldn’t guarantee high quality support for them. We don’t plan to refocus on apps until we can guarantee that seal of quality again.
However we do plan on revisiting and improving our mobile site before then!
Stay tuned :)
It would help with searching for specific kinds of games and I'll make sure to help with sorting games into these categories since I've made my own sites about such games.3 votes
Pretty arbitrary, but I have an issue finding another Theme that properly catagorizes titles like Wii Fit or Dance Dance Revolution3 votes
As means of promoting game editing, there could be a game recommendation for the user. It would be based on the game pages the user visited, the games the user rated, etc. A notification could appear on the website with the recommendation, and there could be a place in "Karma hunters" for some more recommendations.
It would certainly help with many more game info missing, as the person would be prompted to help with something they most probably know.3 votes
There are alot of titles that seem to list multiple divisions as publishing arms for each region. While this can make sense for Developers like Ubisoft Montreal or Shanghai that are responsible for the creation of the game, it makes less sense for Publishers that serve as regional PR wings.
Ex. "Sega" vs Sega of Japan, Sega of America, Sega of Europe.3 votes
If a title is listed as an Episode (a game that continues a core story released in stages and/or uses the same game save data), it does not list the other Episodes in the series as Bundles or Expansions do. Currently, you can only link to a single title, and there is no means of stepping to the previous or next Episode.
a) .hack//Infection Part 1, .hack//Mutation Part 2, .hack//Outbreak Part 3, .hack//Quarantine Part 4
b) Virtually all Telltale games.3 votes
This is actually in the backlog and already prioritised.
We’re looking at implementing a fresh way of displaying Additional Content on game pages, which would include Episodes.
More websites for companies, Twitch profile, Youtube, Discord, etc.3 votes
