Add company logo history Company logos change with time and many of them do drastic changes. Suggestion to be able to upload more than 1 logo as well as date input accompanying logos.

Add a tag for denoting ROM hacks, fan games, and other unofficial works. TL;DR: Some way to differentiate canonical franchise entries from noncanonical ones would be awesome.
First off, I love that IGDB accepts and maintains data about ROM hacks, fan games, and other "unofficial" titles. It really helps the platform's position and usability as a database for all games of all kinds.
That being said, when looking through the search results for a franchise like Pokemon, there are an incredible number of these unofficial games mixed into the results, many of which are built off of the existing, official games. There's nothing (as far as I can tell, anyway) in the metadata…

Trivia/Other Section Several games have interesting or obscure caveats in terms of their release or their playability, and it's worth mentioning them for the sake of completeness. For example, Donkey Kong Junior is listed as a Gameboy Advance release, which is technically correct, but it was only playable via the e-Reader, which is not obvious. Additionally, Donkey Kong Junior also exists as a playable game within Game and Watch Gallery 3 and 4, which may technically not count as a release but deserves mentioning somewhere. 9 votesHey! This is excellent, we ourselves have been wanting Triva data for a long time. Although this isn’t a high priority data it would offer a lot in terms of general knowledge.
However this is a difficult data to handle, as verifying it can be quite difficult and time consuming. Eventually we will revisit the concept and see what options we can come up with to faciliate this.
Leaving this ticket open if other users have suggestions, such as sources of gaming trivia that could be researched.

Add display of rating to custom lists Display the user rating you rated for games in lists; would be easier to see which ones you have rated.

Add game-specific controllers Ability to add game-specific controllers/accessories to their page. For example the guitar in guitar hero games, the camera with Eyetoy games, the dance mat for DDR games and so on. Along with the option to set whether the item is mandatory or not.

Alternate/Regional Titles subtitle below the Page Title This goes slightly with the request for alternate cover options for titles, it would be helpful if various regional titles displayed beneath the main page titles, rather than a small subtext at the bottom of the page.

Mobile app or optimize the website for mobile A dedicated IGDB mobile app would be great however I would settle for your website to be better mobile optimized.

We actually used to have apps, but our (IGDB) team is quite small we decided to terminate them as we couldn’t guarantee high quality support for them. We don’t plan to refocus on apps until we can guarantee that seal of quality again.
However we do plan on revisiting and improving our mobile site before then!

Add user review section to front page I was thinking about how to increase the amount of user reviews and interactivity between members and think this may be the best solution. Right now there is a section for recently reviewed games, but that doesn't seem to be showing user reviews? (Clicking on most items returns nothing, may be recently rated?) This would give more incentive to leave reviews which would appear on the front page for a short amount of time. Could be as simple as Game Cover art, reviewer name and rating, with a link to the game page, a more advanced method would be to…

Additional Oriental/Asia Regions. [HK], [TW] Noting the [CN] China region as well as [KR] Korea, but it is worth adding that releasing in mainland China is and has been EXCEPTIONALLY difficult for western publishers, which is why most devs have historically opted to release in [HK] Honk Kong or [TW] Taiwan and let those sales be an "in" to the region.

RetroAchievement.org achievement category http://retroachievements.org/ is a platform which provides achievements for retro games running in emulators, Currently there are only achievement categories for Steam, PSN and Xbox.
If we had a RetroAchievements category we could add achievements to thousands of games which may never have achievement's otherwise. It would be very cool for things like GOG Galaxy 2.0 integration plugins

This is interesting for sure, we would have to look into it. One thing that comes to mind is whether or not those achievement lists are official, or approved by the original developer/publisher, as this could prove tricky from an IP perspective. Since we would redistribute the data, we’re very careful about the source and provenance.

follow company On game pages we have "follow" button, would be nice to have same button for companies/publishers, to receive info about upcoming games/releases.

We have plans (and needs) to redo how we handle companies, but we also need to rethink how Follows are handled. Right now even follows on game page are underused in terms of potential.

List filtering Adding filter options to lists would be great. For example, if I want to filter a list to check only a specific genre, series or franchise, for example.

Consolidate "Collections" and "Franchises" As it stands, there is a lot of confusion and mixed up data between Collections and Franchises, all relating to the series in which a game belongs. Some games will be within a collection without a franchise, while other series titles such as "Legend of Zelda" has 2 different database ID's for its collection and its franchise.
Because of these differences, it's hard to utilise the series distinction in searches, as it might be in one category or the other, or both. If both are merged, there would be a more consistent way of determining a "series", with many games…

Make game recommendations that are personalized Do it by using both:
Content filtering (content-based filtering): a user rates games and/or adds games to their personal library or lists, and then is shown stuff that has similar metadata to the games that that user has rated highly and/or added to their library. For example, games within the same genres, games from the same developers, games released in the same year, etc.

Treat null as zero When sorting an API request on e.g. totalratingcount descending, I'd expect the highest numbers to be at the start, and games with no ratings to be at the bottom. This is currently not the case, where games with no ratings (null) are at the start. This essentially makes the sorting function broken. Please treat null as zero in the API so that these games appear at the bottom of the response as expected.
