Difficulty/complexity rating It would be nice to add a feature that lets everyone rate a game's difficulty/complexity. I'm thinking of a system similar to the one used to rate the "weight" of a board game on the BoardGameGeek website (https://boardgamegeek.com/wiki/page/Weight). Each voter selects the value they think is appropriate, and an average value is then displayed on the game’s page, along with the distribution of votes.
In the context of a video game, this information would serve the same purpose: to determine whether a game will be too difficult or complex for me, given my profile and expectations.

Advanced Search: Add option to exclude games already in Want / Playing / Played lists The beta Advanced Search is a significant improvement over the current standard search and should be considered as the primary/default search experience going forward. The filtering depth and flexibility make it much more useful for discovery and research.
One feature that would greatly improve it further is the ability to exclude games that a user has already categorized in their personal lists.
Proposed feature:
Add filters (or a simple toggle) to exclude games marked as:- Want
- Playing
- Played
Example use case:

Weather Can we get a category for weather or meteorology? We have a ton of storm chasers and meteorologists on the platform but currently they're relegated to the 'Just Chatting' category, which is not really a good fit for the content they create.
A dedicated weather category would allow viewers to more easily keep up to date with weather changes as they happen in real time, without having to shuffle through a bunch of channels that are talking about other random topics!

Indicate the store PC, Mac, or Linux games were bought from (Epic, GOG, Steam, etc) When selecting PC, Mac, or Linux as a platform, also have the option to select the game store it was (or will be) purchased on. For example, show that you played Tomb Raider on GOG, want Mass Effect on Steam, finished Skyrim on GOG, Steam, and Epic, etc.

The Room I want to stream The Room. However, Twitch shows 2 other games which are not The Room that i am looking for (IDs 2080844645 and 118195). Twitch also has the three sequels: The Room 2, 3, and 4..... but not one: https://www.igdb.com/games/the-room--1

Add ‘Big Fish Games’ to Store Link Big Fish Games is easily one of the biggest hubs for PC and Mac games. When I don’t find a hidden object or mystery game on Steam I go straight for BFG.
In fact, I often go to BFG first now instead of Steam. To me that indicates BFG is big enough to have a Store Link.
Adding BFG to the Store Link section would also allow, in the Social Link section under Official Website, the developer’s official website to be added.

Feature Request - Adding operation and endpoint metadata to webhook payloads The Suggestion:
I would like to suggest that IGDB includes two specific fields in the JSON payload of every webhook: the operation type (create, update, or delete) and the source endpoint name (e.g., games, covers, etc.).The Problem:
Currently, to differentiate between different entities and operations, I have to set up a unique listener URL for every combination of endpoint and action. Since there are approximately 71 endpoints, multiplying them by the 3 operations (create, update, and delete) would require me to create approximately 213 different listener endpoints. Admins: Wait for a response before closing an edit's comment thread When an edit gets rejected, the admins close the edit's comment thread immediately. This is very unproductive, as it does not let the editor pitch their case for why the edit should be made, which leads to misunderstandings. Since there is no way to debate with a rejected verdict, admins should allow the editor to respond in the comment thread instead of immediately locking it.

Link Adminer from docs I've created an Adminer plugin for IGDB. It allows displaying data in all the endpoints, it supports search, sort and all the API features. A killer feature is foreign keys - data referencing other tables are linked to display them.

Reporting duplicates The page https://github.com/twitchtv/igdb-contribution-guidelines/wiki/Duplicates references a Discord group to report duplicates. The group is now defunct. It should reference https://github.com/twitchtv/igdb-contribution-guidelines/wiki/Report instead.

Wikipedia links with anchors (#) The Edit Game form doesn't allow inserting Wikipedia links with anchors. It cuts the link before #. Some games are on Wikipedia only in a section of another page, e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sims_4_game_packs#Spa_Day.
I use the Wikipedia links to display localized game description in my app so I would need the links as precise as possible.

Alternative name types is limited to 20 There are currently 600 alias types (e.g. Alternative spelling or French title). However, only 20 is offered for selection in the edit form. Please add more. I mainly need Czech title but I think that all the languages should be in this list. This is the list of alias types with >=10 games and the number of games using them. Only those marked with * have their option in the edit form:

Huniecam Studio should be removed from the list of banned games The Huniepop franchise is notoriously erotic in nature, and while it's clear that a case can be made for Huniepop 1 & 2 remaining banned (Even though I'd argue they don't deserve to be), it's truly ridiculous that Huniecam Studio is banned as it doesn't even contain any nudity. Huniecam Studio was clearly banned simply for being a part of an erotic franchise despite games with actual nudity and themes of human trafficking and extreme violence are happily kept on the platform.

API for unvalidated changes Would it be possible to provide an API for unvalidated changes? Either as a separate endpoint (https://api.igdb.com/v4/validations), or a different namespace for the same endpoints (https://api.igdb.com/v4/games/unvalidated).
One use case is that I want my admins to propose the changes directly to you but I want to display them on my website immediately.
Another use case is that I have other data which I need to link to IGDB items that are not yet validated. E.g. https://trendingnow.games/upcoming links https://store.steampowered.com/app/3897800/ which is available as https://www.igdb.com/games/poker-night-at-the-inventory--1/changes but not yet validated.

Fix the critics review system to better match the actual rating of a game Hi there! Company Website only exposes official websites The Company Website endpoint exposes only official websites and not the other types (e.g. Wikipedia, Twitter, …). E.g. https://api.igdb.com/v4/companies/56?fields=websites.* returns only https://www.valvesoftware.com even though https://www.igdb.com/companies/valve/edit shows the other links too.
