Pronoun bio field and chat integration
Following up my comment on https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310210-discover/suggestions/42218083-pronouns-prefix
It would be great if there were a dedicated Bio field in which we could put our pronouns, and a chat feature similar to the functionality provided by https://pronouns.alejo.io/ to display pronouns right alongside names in chat. This could also be used to populate a tag-like display near the streamer's name.
Tags for streamers are a start, but I'd like to be able to consult someone's bio (if they choose to disclose pronouns) so I can refer to them properly when they're not currently streaming and be able to refer to viewers properly.

Please make this available via API as well so our chat bots can refer to users with their preferred pronouns <3

Hi! I was informed of this being flagged as "Gathering Interest" so I figured I would drop some statistics from my end to help with that gauge
I am the developer of the "Twitch Chat Pronouns" extension that a lot of people use due to this not being a native feature on Twitch.
Currently there are almost 322,000 people that have set their pronouns over at https://pronouns.alejo.io.
As for the extension itself being used, there are 92,670 Chrome users with it installed, 14,370 on Firefox and 1,600 on Edge. What I do not have data on, however, is people using it via the FrankerFaceZ Add-On, and I know there is a sizable amount of people that use it through that as well, be it for simplicity or for integrations with software like OBS's Embedded chat. There is also a handful of 3rd party tools/alerts/bots/chat overlays that implement my public API.
I feel like this speaks very well for the interest of the userbase for having Pronouns on the site, and making it a native feature would improve on that vastly, especially for mobile users and people that are new to the platform.
I am very willing to discuss anything that Twitch could potentially need me for, so if needed feel free to contact me.

Would really love to have pronoun bio and chat supported naturally. An excellent addition to make people more seen and happy on platform!!

Many people have used Alejo's Twitch Pronouns extension to show their pronouns in chat, it would be great if this had first-party implementation!
Additionally, you can look at https://en.pronouns.page/ for a great reference of many different pronoun options, including other languages!

Currently, there isn’t an option built-in to Twitch itself to add pronouns to your profile. Streamers have to guess or ask about their chatters’ gender identities when interacting with viewers. It would be a better streamer/viewer experience if you could click on someone’s name in chat and see the pronouns they selected for themself as well as on their profile without needing to download additional extensions.

kunne man evt. gøre så man som streamer og moderator, i hvert fald kan se om brugeren er hankøn, hunkøn. det kunne gøre det lidt nemmere at tage imod en seer på kanalen i form af et f.eks Heej fyr, eller heey Girl.

This would be amazing to have built into twitch - everytime twitch has a major update, the browser plug-in workarounds break

See, I would LOVE to see this be added, especially since it's so easy to do, but we're talking about Twitch here so I do not expect it to be added even though I would love it.

Every single social media or messaging service under the sun has it these days, simply adding the option to set it in one's profile and then storing it, not as a string, but just as a set of values corresponding to pronouns. (So trolls can't set theirs as "attack/helicopter")

Yes please!! It would be a great option to have!

This would make the audience/streamer interaction experience so much more comfortable for everyone. It's such a simple thing too, so surely Twitch can do it!

It would be great to have this as an integrated twitch feature!

Yes! Third party apps are great and all but they don't work on all devices. Even for cis folks, no one likes being misgendered. If LinkedIn can do it, Twitch easily can.

Add a feature to identify our pronouns as a broadcaster on our "About" page or next to our broadcaster name.
As Twitch is a huge supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community and its Pride Month, it would be a great idea to end the month on a high note, or for June next year.
Thanks in advance, that would be great!

Need this asap, kinda sad we don't have it now already. having the extension is nice and all but its an extra step we don't need for identity visibility. If not added twitch is cringay

we shouldn't need to use an extension for this to address chat and streamers appropriately in conversations. this should be STANDARD. get with the times.
