2000 channels follows limit is too low
Hello, I follow a lot of people on Twitch, a lot of people have not started streaming yet, will probably do it soon or will not stream at all.
I find it impossible that the channel follow limit is 2000 follow.
Please increase the number to at least 10000 channel follows, so that I can follow more than 2000 channels & users.
Even on Youtube there is no channel following limit!
Please increase this, I have to delete users from my channel list all the time, which annoys me a lot.
I also find it very dubious for a streaming platform that there is such a limit at all.
At the moment I can't see which channel I'm following because it's no longer displayed in the browser since Twitch redesigned it.
2000 channels to follow are just too few, please fixt this problem.

Yes this is ridiculous. PLUS the process you have to go through to unfollow people is also ridiculous, you have to scroll through ALL 2000 people and start at the bottom, and if your page happens to close/refresh, you are OUT OF LUCK and have to start over. Please increase the limit.

As others have said (see Meadow's comment for an excellent summary) the follower limit is too low. Increasing the follower count will help to build community on Twitch. Following serves a variety of purposes, all of them community-building in nature. As Dan Clancy has said, when streamers succeed, Twitch succeeds. Enabling and taking actions to support community building is critical to Twitch's success at community building, which in turn is critical to Twitch's ongoing success as a platform. People are on Twitch for the community. Lets help them reach that community with a much higher follower limit. Thank you!

2k is way too small. i been with this platform since the justin.tv days. and if i didn't constantly have to purge i'd be following way way way way way way waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy more channels. this should be AT LEAST a double digit K number, my network of ppl i know is more than 3k alone and i cant even fit them all in. this needless sacrifice of interconnectivity between creators is a garbage limit and needs to be increased if not eliminated entirely. at the very least if bots are a concern limit how many you can do over daily period but that number also needs to be triple digit minimum and probably higher when this policy is first changed. it needs to be changed for practicality sake. anything that limits the growth of connections in a social platform is an antisocial policy in direct opposition to the premise of the thing itself. please do better.

What an absolutely RIDICULOUS limit to set. What technical reason could you POSSIBLY have for limiting who follows who (there isn't one). Change this, change this, change this. WOW.....

100% Meadow is correct. The fact that this has taken nearly 5 years to get to the point where this basic idea is "gathering interest" is pretty problematic. If Twitch continues to believe they have scaling issues, they can instantly solve them by changing their policies to have tougher verification by default. Fewer fake accounts will allow them the headroom to allow the real users to follow as many people as they would like to.

The current follow limit is not only low for many viewers, but also problematic for monetized streamers who need to be able to follow each other as part of their networking efforts and channel growth. I'm not talking about follow-for-follow (which we all know doesn't work anyway), but about having the needed follow allowance to be able to practice basic professional courtesies. Good etiquette suggests dropping a follow to a creator who has raided us, following fellow members of our stream teams, following connections we make at TwitchCon, and following streamers with whom we are included on the same collaborations.
Additionally, a lot of us use our following list in order to find someone to raid at the end of our streams. During certain windows of the day, when we're looking to raid a specific category (for example, sticking with a cozy vibe when raiding out from a quiet/cozy stream), it can be difficult to find a creator whom we know well enough to trust with our community. So, when we find a raid target who's a good fit for our community, we want to make sure we're following.
Between streamers we collab with, streamers we raid, streamers we follow for networking purposes, streamer friends whom we support on principle, streamers we follow out of etiquette, and streamers we follow because we regularly watch their stream or want to keep tabs on their channel... the number adds up to 2k real fast.
Please help creators do their job on the platform and support their building healthy networks with other creators by raising this follow limit! Dan Clancy has been hyping the value of collaboration and the future of the platform being rooted in it -- a philosophy which makes the 2k follow limit stand out as having been outdated for quite some time.
Thanks so much for your time in reading and for taking this need into consideration! It's much appreciated.

I join this cause. There should definitely be no limitations on the tracking number.

This absolutely needs to change twitch. For a limit on how we support those who support us back is without doubt a disgrace on a social media platform. Remove this or increase it and be better.

I reckon that as our communities grow or even discover each other, I think it will be very beneficial for us to not have the follower limit as having the limit there really removes the joy of finding new friends on Twitch as it means leaving old friends behind.
There are many platforms out there that do not have this limit but I feel that Twitch can be a better platform by removing the follow limit as 2000 is not enough friends that I want to follow. As a community member: I like to support as many friends as possible.

我覺得可以給使用者付費免費用戶1000數量,付費每擴大1000數量(每個國家價格不一樣)
1000$換1000數量 累積下來,另外可以用你追隨的台 很久沒開台建議取消清單 -

Please allow to be able to follow more channels then 2000. I find it low.
To make it not abuseable how about streamers can follow more people?
So they can make more friends and network/grow. you removed friends.
There got to be a doable way to allow for more following of people on twitch.
Id like to support more people but cant from 2000 limit. please consider this. I want to be able to follow all the streamers I enjoy watching/supporting etc. -

That's how you live for 8 years on twitch. You have a 2000 limit to add channels to favorites ! I want the Twitch platform to remove these restrictions !
