API to make stream snapshot and use it as next live thumbnail.
People should be able to have an option to choose their next/preferred thumbnail if they desire.
Currently, as i understand for live content thumbnail is randomly taken snapshot of stream every 5 min.
Some streamers stay/pose in one position for some time to get thumbnail that they want. This kinda takes time and adds awkward pause to stream.
Some don't know or don't bother about it.
Would be cool if they could run a command that will take snapshot from stream and use this snapshot for next thumbnail.
This way mods could run the command to set thumbnail without interrupting the stream.
Or streamer themselves could run the command quickly to set next thumbnail and proceed with their content.
Because often, especially, if it is IRL stream, people turn cameras, change angles, point cameras at some random points when walking, or get caught with weird/unwanted face expressions. But on stream before/after there is an amazing scene/content that people might overlook if thumbnails are taken with 5min intervals and not at streamer/mods desire.
