Add "Advanced Test Alerts" That Trigger Real EventSub/PubSub Events
The current “Test Alert” button in the Twitch Creator Dashboard is great for previewing visuals, but it doesn’t send real events to the backend (PubSub or EventSub).
This makes it very difficult to test integrations with third-party tools like Streamer.Bot, LioranBoard, MixItUp, or custom bots that rely on Twitch's real-time event systems.
Suggestion: Add an optional “Advanced Test Alert” mode that fires real EventSub/PubSub events — similar to what happens during an actual follow, sub, raid, etc. This would allow developers and streamers to test full end-to-end workflows, alerts, and automations in a safe, controlled way.
It would be a huge quality-of-life improvement for the developer ecosystem and would help streamers feel more confident that their systems are working as intended.
