Analytics
I use the platform's analytics feature a lot and, I have to say, I really appreciate the quantity and quality of the data available. I regularly use this information to build my own customized monitoring dashboards, which are essential for my work as a streamer and for the channels I work on.
However, I would like to highlight one area for improvement that I believe is fundamental. As I browse through the logs and analytics provided, I notice the absence of a crucial metric: the category of the games I stream. Although the platform records which games are set up at the time of broadcast, it lacks the ability to identify which games were actually broadcast during a session in analytics and when exporting it.
It would be incredibly useful if there was a column dedicated to the category of games broadcast, highlighting which game was set for that specific broadcast on a given day. I envisioned this information integrated into the analytics overview, providing a more complete and detailed understanding of broadcasting activities.
Including this functionality would not only enrich the analytics experience for streamers, but would also offer valuable insights for future content planning and community engagement strategies, as it would be possible to have a view of which content has the most engagement from our target audience.
Thank you for your attention to this suggestion and I hope we can continue to improve the user experience on Twitch together.
