[Feature] Alerts
We have added in the ability to configure and manage Alerts directly within your Creator Dashboard here on Twitch. You can use them in tandem with the alerts you love and already have set up with your third-party broadcasting software; however, we've expanded our system to offer not just classic alerts like subs, follows and cheering, but also Alerts for hype trains, raids, goals, and charity. On top of this, we've added brand new features like Interactive Resubs, which can be tailored to provide different visual and audio options for users to pick when sharing their resub anniversary message. We've also launched Celebrations which can be added to any alert to trigger a channel page-wide explosion of your emotes to mark any special occasion. For much more information, please check out our detailed blog post here: https://blog.twitch.tv/2023/05/17/celebrate-your-community-your-way-with-twitch-s-new-alerts/.
Our goal is to give you the tools to express yourself. Alerts are a sandbox for you to show off what you and your community are about; and this is only the beginning, so please let us know any feedback you have on how we can improve Twitch's Alerts for you in the future. Thank you!
Hi again all,
We have another update regarding Twitch’s Alerts. Now, you can set up integrations with Streamlabs, Throne, Crowd Control, and StreamElements, to bring select third-party events they provide to your Activity Feed to help you recognize all the additional ways your community supports you (such as through tipping, merch purchases, etc.).
Help highlight your community’s contributions and celebrate them all in one place, with your own flair by tapping into the customization options for your Alerts in the Creator Dashboard.
This is just the beginning! We'd love to hear what other third party streaming tools you'd like deeper Twitch integrations with, please share them with us via link.twitch.tv/UVAlerts or http://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/924712/suggestions/47507177.

Editors having access could be really cool. I would really love if we could make variants that are the same priority that would be picked from at random! We love random variants.

Are there any features you want or need that are missing?
1. Editors have access
2. Redeem TTS messages with Channel Points
Do you have any questions or concerns about the product?
1. Please Implement Api Access for bots and developers : Add/Modify/activation/Delete
How else can we improve alerts?
1. Implement as an extension, rather than web source. Will make it much easier to implement and be independent of any streaming setup (same computer, 2 computers, mobile)
2. Integrate the Channel's Emotes for Celebrations and Alert Images -

not sure if my comment was deleted or something but +1 for the ability to create several variants at the same priority to be picked at random. every other alert box allows this currently

+1 for the ability to set alerts to the same priority (or some other method) to create a pool of random variants for the same type of event

Hi! I'm loving some of the original ideas here, and it's so close to replacing my current alerts system. There's just two things missing right now for me.
FIRST is channel point integration. Specifically, when someone redeems "Highlight a Message" on my stream, not only is it highlighted in chat by Twitch directly, but it's also read aloud by TTS. There is no way to do this with your alerts system.
An option for specific integration with Twitch's default rewards (highlight, unlock an emote, etc), with the option for more generic custom rewards (I would love to let people play sounds via channel points direct through your alerts system for example), would 100% convince me to make the switch.
I feel like channel points have gotten the short end of the stick lately, and here is no different. I understand the obvious financial incentive to encourage chatters to use Bits instead, but for a smaller streamer like me it's just not feasible to expect that from my viewers.
SECOND is better customization of the alert transitions. I'd like to, for example, have a gif play and THEN have text appear explaining the alert, rather than being stuck with the more rigid structure of everything appearing at once. Many have already voiced this one so I can't imagine it's not already being worked on, which is why I'm not writing as much about it, but it's definitely still something I care about.
EDIT: I'm reading some of the other replies more and honestly I think there's a lot you can do with integration beyond just channel points. Being made by Twitch itself allows for a lot more freedom in creating alerts for things like polls, predictions, reactions, etc. You've already added Hype Train support which I think is unique to this? But there's so much more potential here.

Greating!
I think that Ukrainians will be very happy to use your development using Ukrainian variations of TTS.
Please add them 🙂. -

funny the default text for community gifts in german is against the guidelines and therefore can not be saved as it was preset.

I wish to retract my feedback as I just found a finnicky way of getting the Text-To-Speech to appear when I need it to.
What I would like to see, instead, is an option to add transition times and delays to the visuals and text separately. I have a visual WEBM where I need to delay the appearance of the text message by about 3 seconds in order to match.

things I'd love to see:
1) PLEASE do something about the celebrations, while i LOVE the idea, the intensity is too much even on the lightest one. I'd rather set my own amount of emotes (like kappagen) than have your pre-made sets.. (also have it easier to turn it off for viewers instead of combining it with animated emotes toggle)
2) Would love random alert option (like GuiDaFunkyMan suggests, but then for all alert sections).
3) Lastly I'd like to be able to move the alerts on a 16:9 grid, so they won't all be at the same spot or have to make a separate alert source just for that. They are in order of importance (for me) and hope to get them considered for an update, these are my biggest factors to fully use the twitch alerts or keep the alerts I have right now.

Hi, you should make "Follow Alert Variations" random. At now, they're triggered in terms of order of priority which is counter-intuitive.
At least, allow us to include a percentage of occurrence. Most of your partners (streamlabs.com and streamelements.com for instance) already provide this feature. You just need to inspire by it. ;^)
