[Feature] Alerts
We have added in the ability to configure and manage Alerts directly within your Creator Dashboard here on Twitch. You can use them in tandem with the alerts you love and already have set up with your third-party broadcasting software; however, we've expanded our system to offer not just classic alerts like subs, follows and cheering, but also Alerts for hype trains, raids, goals, and charity. On top of this, we've added brand new features like Interactive Resubs, which can be tailored to provide different visual and audio options for users to pick when sharing their resub anniversary message. We've also launched Celebrations which can be added to any alert to trigger a channel page-wide explosion of your emotes to mark any special occasion. For much more information, please check out our detailed blog post here: https://blog.twitch.tv/2023/05/17/celebrate-your-community-your-way-with-twitch-s-new-alerts/.
Our goal is to give you the tools to express yourself. Alerts are a sandbox for you to show off what you and your community are about; and this is only the beginning, so please let us know any feedback you have on how we can improve Twitch's Alerts for you in the future. Thank you!
Hi again all,
We have another update regarding Twitch’s Alerts. Now, you can set up integrations with Streamlabs, Throne, Crowd Control, and StreamElements, to bring select third-party events they provide to your Activity Feed to help you recognize all the additional ways your community supports you (such as through tipping, merch purchases, etc.).
Help highlight your community’s contributions and celebrate them all in one place, with your own flair by tapping into the customization options for your Alerts in the Creator Dashboard.
This is just the beginning! We'd love to hear what other third party streaming tools you'd like deeper Twitch integrations with, please share them with us via link.twitch.tv/UVAlerts or http://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/924712/suggestions/47507177.

And I agree with @fisherrrplayz5000 Because when I go to creator dashboard I want channel points on my stream but only things it says are drops and rewards is it broken or is it normal?

Hello, I was trying to create a Hype Train Alert with a Sound I made, but I can't upload it, because it tells me, that the Media needs to be named - so I tried different names - same outcome. It also tells me, there's a copyright issue, but tested it and there are 2 seconds in the 1min sound, that aren't my own voice.... How would that be a problem?

i need a way to keep my mods from banning ppl. can you make it so my mods can moderator yet not be able to outright ban them? i been in rooms where mods will ban ppl they find as a threat to thier own agenda. like, you will be having a convo with someone and everything is fine, the host is chill and keeping me engaged then out of no where one of the mods that never say anything in chat bans without warning and the host is there asking if i am still in chat, not realizing that a sneaky mod is banning ppl. i propose making it so mods can only time someone out, and let the host do the actual banning.

Hi. I'd like to ask you to add the ability to customize alerts when broadcasting from a PlayStation game console. That would be very cool. Thank you.

But on the other hand, thank you so much because setting up Twitch Alerts is somehow accessible to screen-reader users like me. I am totally blind, and I love that I can customize my alert box on my own. I hope you keep on making it even more accessible to all visually impaired users like me. And please, very much hoping as well that you consider adding songlistbot on the alert variant. I badly want a sound and TTS notification when someone makes a song request from my song list. It will be a very big help for me, swear! Most of the times, I am missing some of the song requests from my viewers. A sound and TTS alert will be an ease. Please consider an integration of it also on the Twitch Alerts. Thank you so much! More power!

Hi there. I'd like to suggest adding songlistbot to the alert variants. It will be more helpful and more convenient to me if alerts like when someone makes a song request notified by the use of Twitch Alerts. I hope you consider my suggestion. Thanks much!

I haven't tried this out yet, although it seems like alerts don't work when you're streaming from a console? This is the main way I stream due to my disability, and would like to know if there's a way you could add this functionality somehow.

Watching @KomfyKiwi co-stream with shared chat and witnessed her alerts reacting to Bits in the other streamers chat. Confirmed that she uses the Twitch Alerts functionality.
Seems like this is an oversight and shouldn't happen.
If the alerts are watching IRC, it can be fixed it comparing the tags 'room-id' and 'source-room-id' while shared chat is active.

You need to add an alert box for the chat. We shouldn't need to download a 3rd party app for chat notifications. It's easy to miss chats when you're gaming, and that can hurt the growth of a new streamer. Also, and alert specifically for someone joining the chat to begin with would be great. These are the two most basic and useful alerts, and I don't know how they aren't just there and on by default for new streamers.
