[Feature] Stream Events & Streamer-versary
We have some exciting news to share with our Streamers! We have just launched a new feature that allows you and your community to celebrate your Streamer-versary (the day you became an Affiliate or Partner) in an extra special way. To help start the party, Twitch can now send you reminders of your upcoming Streamer-versary and helps you choose a date to celebrate within a 2-week window from the day you joined the Creator Program that aligns with your ideal stream schedule. During the stream event, viewers will see an anniversary badge and tag on your stream; and to help chat feel extra special, viewers will get a special prompt to congratulate you and custom emotes will be available for your community to share the love in chat on your big day.
With the above features mentioned, we would love to know what other events or milestones would you like to celebrate on stream? Perhaps your birthday, the anniversary of your first stream ever, or your 100th stream? Let us know. We’re also open to suggestions for other features you’d like to see during your Streamer-versary celebrations. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

I cannot find where you are supposed to input the streamer-versary date. It just says in the creator dashboard. But where? Do you have to actually wait for the 2 week window? Also, I don't consider my streamer-versary when I made Affiliate, I consider the first stream ever my streamer-versary as do many other streamers.

This feature is great! But when I wanted to set it just now, I couldn't change the date of the anniversary, and it remained the same after selecting the date. :(

Maybe it could be a godd idea and event if you can celebrate the release of a new game or new season/chapter

Seconding this comment: "most people base there streamer-versary on the date their channel started. not when they make affiliate or partner."
The date of your first stream feels somehow more meaningful, like you decided to make a commitment that day and hitting affiliate is just a random day you didn't specifically pick, you just hit it when you hit it.
I agree more visibility for small streamers.

I would like to know when my first stream was, possibly when my first 5 or 10 streams were, and I could designate one as my first "real" stream. I know for a fact my first technical stream was simply a test stream where I just had a friend letting me know if things looked okay, not exactly something that I would want to make an anniversary of.

This is a nice idea but I just celebrated my streamer-versary based on the date of my first stream. I think most people base there streamer-versary on the date their channel started. not when they make affiliate or partner.
I love the idea of a birthday stream! I already celebrate my birthday every year with my community. Milestone follower would be nice, but let the streamer determine the number to celebrate. Same with milestone stream number. It is nice to mark those, but how often should be up to the streamer. -

And: please Twitch, give us some small streamers (1k, 65 avg. Viewer, 300subs ) some better Placement. We need to be seen.

Nice idea! There are many stream to party! Birthday, Twitch-Account starting, affiliate, 1k Follower, 2k Follower. All these I celebrate together with my community. Can we edit the stream event for what we need to be the party?

I really think this is a cool feature, though I don't fully understand why it has to fall within the 2-week window from the day I joined the Creator Program. I already do Streamerversary streams on the date I started streaming on the channel; can't say officially becoming an affiliate/partner means as much.

Well, this is disappointing. My affiliate anniversary was 4/24 and I don't have an option to pick a date this weekend. But thanks for the email about an event I can't actually schedule for 362 days from now, I guess.

It was noted a celebration date within a 2 week window, however my anniversary was 4/22 and I do not have an option to celebrate this with my community this year.

I was super stoked to get the email about this as I just passed my stream anniversary a week or two ago, but am doing my celebration stream tomorrow, actually. Although, when I went to set up the settings to use this new feature, it won't let me pick until March of 2024. This is a real disappointment and I'd really love to be able to pick a day that makes sense for me, especially this year, but I doubt tomorrow will be soon enough to change this feature for me, unfortunately.
Really like the overall concept, however. I don't mind the celebration being for becoming Affiliate, I think that's worth celebrating, but I also became Affiliate only a week or two after starting on Twitch, so this makes sense for me. I'm not sure how others would feel if they have a few months between these dates, it'd be nice to be able to celebrate both, or when onboarding ask each user which they'd prefer to celebrate each year.

I would be great to expand this to Birthdays!

Streamversary is usually used for the first time streaming on the platform, which would be cool to have as well.
On top of that Birthday celebration is what could be added too -

Streamer anniversary is usually for the first day you streamed, not the day you got Affiliate. I've not seen anyone set it for anniversary of Affiliate; people will do a special event the week after getting Affiliate, but not for the anniversary of it.
On top of that, I was planning to do a streamer anniversary for the date stated above (first day of streaming) this year, which is in June, but my Affiliate thing was in February. This is rather inconvenient timing. While the idea is great, could you make it so we can pick our own date rather than the narrow window allowed?

I hated it! I always celebrate my streamer anniversary the day I did my first live streaming.
Please let people select the day that makes more sense to us, not Just for Twitch. The Idea is great, but I will not use, my community is already used to the "first live celebration"

First stream ever, absolutely. Milestone stream numbers? Definitely! Celebrating on the hundreds, thousands, etc. would be great. Anniversaries joining stream teams would be cool.
Just one note. The streamiversary is absolutely used as the term for celebrating the anniversary of your first stream ever, not partner or affiliate. I've seen people use partnerversary for partners, and... I'm not sure for affiliates. Affiliversary?
