Short windows streamers and getting a daily average for affiliate
I am a micro streamer, it's a term I coined for streamers who stream say, in half an hour increments, a half an hour here and there, it's really hard to get traction on Average viewership because by the time people realize your live the stream is ending.
The algorithm for calculation of affiliate should look at the length of the stream and for anyone streaming, just an en example, under 1-hour, the VoD views should be taken into effect as well, my VoD's do okay and some get lots of views, can this be something that is taken into consideration.
There are a lot of really great streamers that cant do long stream, this would also take into account members of my community that are not up during my time live. I have been growing my community internationally and so some of my VoD views are when I am asleep and so I would never get those fans watching me live.
I would not be opposed to having ad's in My VoD's too if it was a way to boost my chances of getting to affiliate faster.
I think more emphasis on VoD's for those who don't stream 8 hours a day would be fairer and also a new revenue option for Twitch to consider.
