its been about a week and a half and my emotes still say that they are pending.... how long can it take to simply approve or deny a couple of harmless emotes. twitch has to do something about this because this is totally ridiculous.

Patience is a virtue and emotes are manually vetted until you have gained good standing.
Never plan something around a manual task whose frequency is increasing.
Affiliate is now so easy to achieve the volume of manual checks will have increased.
