2. Twitch Achievement Trophies

   General Idea:
   Earn profile trophy badges by completing certain actions with your Twitch account. When you earn these trophies, they will be displayed on your Twitch Profile page.

   Details:
   There are plenty of things that can be used to encourage good, diligent behaviour among viewers and streamers alike. It can also be used to spur on better interactivity among users as well as the Twitch website and/or events.

   Want to encourage security? Well, you can earn a trophy for enabling two-factor authentication.

   Want better user engagement? If you verify your email; connect your YouTube, Steam, etc; you can get a trophy for that too.
   Perhaps someone wants to stream for the first time? Maybe someone streamed every day for one week? A month? They earn a trophy for those.

   How about if you go to Twitch Con, you give them your Username and get a profile trophy for physically attending.

   On Twitch's side, want to encourage your Creative streamers? Run a contest for Creative streamers where they make art for these trophy badges. Verified streamers vote for their favorite and the badge gets used for an achievement. The Creative winner gets a unique badge for winning the contest.

   How about a Creative streamer making a physical Twitch Trophy?
   There are plenty of ways to utilize this and many more for displaying them on their profile. Either way, an enthused Twitch user would love to earn and show them off!

3. Achievements not just for Creators : Chatter / Viewer leaderboards

   The current Achievements feature on Twitch is largely limited to the creator dashboard and primarily targets broadcasting. However, a broad spectrum of users, including Chatters, Viewers, and power users (Artists, VIPs, Mods, and Editors), could significantly benefit from a more personalized Achievements system.

   We propose the introduction of opt-in leaderboards that display the achievements these users have earned. Each achievement would have multiple levels, with special rewards unlocked at level 5 (an emote) and level 10 (a badge).

   1. Multi-Channel Roles: Indicating a user’s roles across various channels, would have different levels based on the number of channels where the user is a Moderator or a VIP.

   2. Artist Levels: Indicate the number of channels using a particular artist’s emotes, with levels corresponding to the number of channels.

   3. Global Sub Gifter Badges: Users could earn flares for gifting subs across multiple channels, with higher levels representing more gifts.

   4. Global Bits Tier Badges: Users could earn flares for cheering with bits across multiple channels, with higher levels representing more cheers.

   5. Bits Tier Emotes: When the amount of bits cheered for a channel equals a Sub Tier, those emotes should be unlocked for that month in the channel. A leaderboard would track the number of emotes unlocked through cheering.

   6. Stream Streak Badge: Users could earn badges with different colors for maintaining viewing streaks in a channel, with flares for achievements in multiple channels.

   7. Raid Rider: Users could earn levels for participating in raids, with exclusive emote and badge unlocks for each year.

12. Viewer Recap suggestion

    I'd like to suggest that the Top 5 Channels have some mathematics so that its not entirely based off of Hours Watched, but a combination of Hours Watched and Chats Sent. Each streamer has different streaming schedules and some can't stream as much as others. But if I have 150 hours watched and 400 Chats Sent in Channel A, and 140 hours and 3000 Chats sent in Channel B, I would expect Channel B to be higher on the list. Unfortunately, it's not the case with the recap this year. Can you please consider Chats Sent for recaps in the future?

    The recap of your whole year in general is a great function. The recap of 2023 is better than the 2022 and 2021 Recap.

    However, it would be great to have a more extensive annual recap in the streamers you are subscribed, or you were subscribed during this year.

    Your annual recap of each streamer can show, for example, the total hours you watched the stream of this channel, the number of streams you saw, total messages sent, number of emotes you used, th Top 5 of emotes you used, the number of bits and gifts sent to this streamer, number of channel points you won and used, and achievements (like top 10% of greatest gifters, bits cheered, top 10% of watchtime of this streamer during the year, points earned and used...).

    This functionality can be extended to all streamers you are following, and if you see a minimum of hours of that streamer (for example, 12 of 24 hours to unlock that recap).

14. Yearly Recap Community Engagement

    The yearly recap could be enhanced with a social aspect of introducing some degree of comparable experience. Knowing the hours watched in the year is nice but it could be helpful to know how that stacks up to other viewers. Same for chatting etc.
    Additionally descriptions for how you gained an achievement would add context to the experience. (This information can be found by following the link and scrolling through the next page down to the "bonus achievement" section! It is really cool!)

15. I believe my recap for 2023 has an error.

    My recap says I got a Top 10% for Final Fantasy XI Online.

    I don't ever recall watching anyone playing FF 11 Online. My stepdaughter streams COD and Sea of Thieves, so I can understand ranking those, and most of my subscriptions are 7 Days to Die players.

    Where did the FF 11 Online viewing come from?

17. Twitch does not help bring viewers while streaming

    Hi, I have been stuck for over a year grinding up the requirements for affiliate.

    I'm having the problem of not having enough concurrent viewers to become affiliate, even though I've been operating at the affiliate level for months now. I'm likely going to shut my channel down bc I NEVER GET VIEWERS STICKING AROUND IN MY LIVE. It's ridiculous, I get one viewer, me, and Twitch does absolutely nothing to help me gain followers or viewers. I'm at the point where it doesn't make sense to continue in this fashion broadcasting basically for myself. What's the point of broadcasting if I'm going to be in a room alone by myself anyway?!

20. Ad view statistics

    I could show an ad viewing stats I've seen so far

    How many times did I see a certain streamer's ad and how much did I contribute?

    If Twitch show statistics such as the number of ad views or approximate ad cost estimates,

    Would viewers also feel a sense of accomplishment and then try to watch more ads without using adblocks?

    I don't feel anything because I don't know how much it helps the streamer as there are no statistics results even when I look at the ads.
