A follower anniversary Much like resubbing to a channel, I would think a follower versary would be a cool to see every year with the ability to write a message in there. (example: Username has been following for 12 months. Hype. Share your message.) It dont have to be over the top kind of thing.

Auto detect games Are there auto-detect games because I don't want to go back to twitch and change the category to a different game. People can choose to either auto-detect or not.

A feature to deactivate the following button temporarily if anyone have problems with bots following them Some streamers have problems with bots that keep following them,
my idea is to add a new feature to deactivate the following button of their channel temporarily to avoid any bots from following them.

pay for a rebroadcast Now to see a rebroadcast like a video in twitch of a sub only video channel. We need to sub.
But if we want to see one rebroadcast of a channel and one of an other and an other... We need to sub 3 times or more and more.
But you can make a feature for that, the principle is to pay 1$ or 1.5$ for a rebroadcast to see more of them. Basically today I'm sub of 3 channels but I want to see 3 events in rebroadcaster sub only but I don't want to pay 15$ for just…

Give more tools to streamers to ensure their mature content doesn't reach inappropriate audiences. Give us the ability to receive only viewers that have verified their account, or enabled 2FA. Require a birthday to be set for said accounts and allow the streamer to set the minimum allowed age.
Currently we only have the ability to label our stream with "Mature" and require a viewer to click on "view stream", this does not actually keep out inappropriate audiences this only protects Twitch's liability and that of the streamer, which while being a good thing can be so much better.
Not only would this help in regards to protecting minors, this would also protect streamers…5 votes -
Costream/multistream I think a great way of helping the community grow and helping people grow is by adding the option to stream together on the same screen. By inviting a channel to stream with you on your channel, you, in turn, stream on their channel as well and you end up sharing viewership and growing together with your friends. A great way of doing it is by looking at the multistre.am website and going to layout 4, or by joining both chats together so that both you, and your partner can interact with the chat together without having the problem of…

Add a TwitchMusic channel to the platform which streams 24/7, highlighting various music streams from within Music & Performing Arts. It would be a great way for musicians on Twitch to be discovered if there were a TwitchMusic channel which highlighted a new music streamer from the Music & Performing Arts category every 15 minutes, in particular "Live Performance" (not the 24/7 radio stations that violate TOS which dominate the category).
This would be a nice way for people to discover new live music streams, and it would work similar to the ChannelOne channel on the Mixer streaming platform.

Give mods their own separate emotes Let mods have their own separate emotes to make it possible to make Chibi versions of them wielding ban hammers, etc. so only they can use them.

Reward mods for their communal service work! my idea is that mods are a backbone of the community on twitch and deserve a reward from twitch as most channels dont have the means to be very generous to their mods neither do moderators expect it often.
Therefor, i think it is a nice way to reward those mods by giving the streamer the option to award a mod with free channel emotes. restricted by subpoints of that channel, so, x amount of subpoints will enable x amount of mods to be given the full set of emotes that streamer has.
this way, a mod can feel rewarded…

Multiple sound channels that viewers can control Hello,
In my years of watching Twitch I have only thought of one major pitfall. That is - sound.
I watch my favorite streamers every night, but often have to mute the channel or turn it right down due to the music being too loud for my liking. This becomes annoying and frustrating because then I cannot hear the streamer speak.
This could easily be fixed by having a 2-3 sound channels that streamers can set up as they please. For example:
Channel 1 - linked to game
Channel 2 - linked to mic
Channel 3 - linked to music…

ability to toggle off default captions on clips Having the ability to turn off default captions on clips similar to the toggle for default publishing them would be great. The captions aren't great and some streamers don't want to use them so having to turn it off every time is a hassle

TV-Style Channel Surfing While watching a stream in full screen, I’d like to swipe left or right to browse other live channels without leaving the current stream. The current stream would keep playing while I scroll through live previews, and tapping one would instantly switch to that channel.
This would make Twitch feel more like channel surfing on TV and make discovering new streamers much faster.

Markers Updates Markers need a serious update.
- All editors should be able to see the marker that was created in the chat feed
- Marker Creation & Edits should show up in the Mod Actions list
- Markers should have editable titles and be able to be dragged into a more correct location in the video review.
- Markers should be more visible when viewing the stream VOD for editors. Looking like a thumb tack would be helpful. Click on them and the title shows with an edit icon4 votes -
Live Stream Timeline / Roadmap Feature for Streams Twitch should add a customizable live “stream timeline” feature that creators can edit for each stream. This would allow viewers to instantly see what part of the stream is currently happening, what already happened, and what is planned next.
Example:
- Discussing drama
- Ranked on main account
- Tournament watch party 3.1 Team 1 vs Team 2 3.2 Team 3 vs Team 4
- Tier list creation
When viewers join streams late, they are often confused about what is happening or whether content they are interested in is still coming later. A timeline/roadmap system would improve stream organization and viewer retention.
Features could…

VOD progress bar highlights "memorable moments" It would be nice to see the most memorable/eventful parts of a stream by clicking on highlighted parts of a vod's progress bar.
It could correlate to when clips are made and authorized mods could also tag an eventful moment quickly.
Similar(?) to how the "most replayed" feature works on youtube. As far as how users interact with it.
Looking thru clips the way they exist now can be annoying/slow and there are often many similar clips of the same thing with often poor titles that provide no context. Im sure some people like watching 8hr long vods to see…

Alert me when certain categories had a viewer/follower spike As a new streamer trying to find an audience*, one way that occurs to me to do so is by piggybacking off of popular variety streamers who happen to play a game I like. Viewers think the game is cool and want to watch more of it, but now the variety streamer in question has moved on to something else. I'd like to identify events like this for certain games or categories and be notified of them.
For example, I really like a game called "Drova: Forsaken Kin." It's not very well-known and as a consequence doesn't have much viewership.…

Browser Games Category Some variety streamers like to play games on Newgrounds or other browser-based game hosting sites. Seeing as these types of sites aren't traditionally allowed on IGDB-- it only makes sense for this to become its own Twitch category instead.

Add User Achievements (and new rewards) Gamify the platform more. A large portion of the userbase is gamers.
Functionally, users engage better when they have objectives and rewards. Currently the backend has an achievement system for streamers to allow them to have benchmark goals to reach for their stream.
So to capitalize on that, expanding the Drops & Rewards to include Achievements for both users and Streamers. Currently Streamer metrics are what the driving force behind available streamer achievements.
This entire system would need rewards to be a driving force for users to engage with. Emotes, badges, nameplates, titles, profile pic frames, platform themes. This is…

Automatic Category Adjustment Bot Dear Twitch Team,
I would like to propose a feature that could greatly simplify category management for streamers. My suggestion is the development of a bot that automatically adjusts a stream’s category based on its current activity.
For example:
• If the streamer is playing Valorant, the category would automatically switch to Valorant.
• If the streamer is simply engaging with the chat, the category would switch to Just Chatting. This feature would be especially beneficial for streamers who do not have moderators available to manually update their categories during the broadcast. Automating this process would ensure more accurate categorization,…
