How can we improve Twitch for Creators?

Creators and Stream Features: Feature Requests

Categories

Request for a Separate Category for the Haitian Creole Community

Hello Twitch Team,

I am writing to kindly request the creation of a dedicated streaming category for the Haitian Creole community on Twitch. Haitian Creole is spoken by millions worldwide, and many creators and viewers would greatly benefit from having a clear, accessible space where content in this language can be found and celebrated.

A dedicated Haitian Creole category would:

Provide visibility and recognition for Haitian creators.

Help viewers easily discover streams in their native language.

Foster cultural diversity and inclusivity within the Twitch platform.

As a Haitian creator, I believe this addition would make Twitch more representative of its global audience while encouraging more community engagement.

Thank you for considering this request.

Yes! This is such an important request. Haitian Creole deserves its own category so creators and viewers can easily connect and celebrate our culture and language on Twitch. 💙❤️🇭🇹

As a Haitian myself, I would love to see our language represented on Twitch. This would help us find each other, build community, and share our culture with the world. Haiti on Twitch 100%!

C’est une Magnifique demande 💯. Cela permettrait non seulement de donner plus de visibilité aux créateurs haïtiens, mais aussi d’offrir un espace unique où la communauté peut se retrouver et partager sa culture. J’apporte tout mon soutien ! »

    Hello Twitch Team,

My name is [Your Name / Twitch Username], and I am writing on behalf of many Haitian creators and viewers. We would like to request your support so that the Haitian community can have greater presence, visibility, and recognition on the platform.

The Haitian community is passionate about gaming, streaming, and content creation, but we often lack proper representation within Twitch. We believe that including and supporting Haiti and Haitian creators will further strengthen the diversity of the platform and give thousands of people the opportunity to feel represented.

We kindly ask you to consider:

Creating an official category, tag, or recognition for the Haitian community.

Providing more support and visibility for Haitian creators and the Haitian diaspora.

Promoting cultural inclusion initiatives within Twitch.

Thank you very much for your time. We truly hope you can help make Twitch a more inclusive space for everyone.

    Sincerely,
    [Your Name / Username]
