Custom message on top of the stream
A small button overlapping the stream area that when clicked shows a box with a custom message set up by the streamer or mods.
This message could be used to set reminders, news, upcoming changes, disclaimers and anything really.
Why: A problem that I see a lot is streamers warning viewers about a change, but only a small portion of the audience catch the message. For example, that the stream is going to start sooner than usual in the next day.
In order to make sure that a good amount of people know this information the streamer has to keep reminding the viewers by saying it on stream every now and then which 1. some people might never catch the exact moment where they say this and 2. the streamer himself might forget to warn the viewers often.
The streamer could also post a message on their social medias, but it's not the most reliable way because not every viewer follows the streamer or uses that social media app.
The streamer could also change the title of the stream, but that could also go unchecked by some and doesn't feel like the right spot to put a somewhat long message.
This little message box could help warn people prior to entering the stream for health warnings, game/movie/books spoilers, schedule change, upcoming events and much more. A little red circle on it's corner it would bring attention to the button.
A notification just like the "went live" mobile notification could be coupled with this warning box, being sent even when the stream might be offline to warn even more people of a change. It's very likely that the viewer has the Twitch app installed with notifications turned on.
Maybe an e-mail notification for even more awareness, but this could cause problems foreign to my knowledge.
