Contact Mods
So. I was updating the Roles Feature within my community section on my Twitch Dashboard.
I had a good friend of mine who is one of my loyal mods ban a viewer because of something unrelated to the stream.
I got looking after stream to see if there was any options for doing so with this. But I could not find anything for it.
You know how we have the ability under Channel Analytics that reads "Send Email To My Subscribers"?
Why not have that same function. But instead for Mods/VIP/Editor Roles?
I'd love to write up an email for my Mods/VIP/Editor Members of my Community in letting them know about their Privileges of being a Mod/VIP/Editor. Other than a few 3rd-Party Bots Such as StreamElements and Other Interactive Custom Chat Bots with Mod rights wouldn't matter as much.
A Majority of my Mods are also Editors. What I'd love to wright would be as simple as:
"Hello Fellow Moderator, I hope your day is going well.
You are receiving this email as I would like to remind you about your rights as a Moderator within the channel.
Just for a reminder. It's not about bragging rights and having the Mod Sword Badge next you your name in the chat. It's about being supportive and helping with Chat/Stream when things get busy and with the stream picking up, you're best to be ready for action.
Now I understand that as a Moderator for the Channel that you enjoy gaming/streaming/life and cannot be in the stream all the time. So that is fine. But should your presence be miss for an extended period of time, be aware that your privileges may be revoked at any time.
If you haven't been made aware of your Role(s) within this community. Just as a reminder that you are not only under the Role as a Mod. You are also under the Role as an Editor for the Channel.
As an Editor. You have a lot more In-Depth Accessibility within the Dashboards on the Channel. If you see something that could be useful for content within the channel that is safe within Twitch TOS. Then you may take action upon your Editor Role and your Mod Role.
If you're unaware that you have had the Role as an Editor since the time of earning your Role as a Mod. I strongly recommend that you follow up on the Roles Article from Twitch: https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/Managing-Roles-for-your-Channel?language=en_US
Looking forward to seeing you during the next stream!"
Now you might be asking if you were a Mod, "What is this email?" or "Have I been an Editor this entire time while I've been a mod and haven't been made aware of this?"
To answer those is all stated within the email.
Another big factor of this is to make sure if your Mod/VIP/Editor Community Members aware of any changes. Even with having platforms like Discord, some of those Community Members may not even have a Discord or Refuse to make a Discord Account. So this email is always a great method to reach out to you community much like contacting your Subscribers via Email

I am not sure if you just don't have standards or think cyber bullying is cool or what but I probably won't be back
