Give Creators the Option to Tailor the Adverts for their Audience Let creators choose advertisers they feel are most relevant to their community and that align with their brand. Either from a list of advertisers on the platform or via the Amazon Affiliate program so that they could also have ads roll for specific products that they already use and promote.

Amazon Affiliate Links Baked into Ads Automagically embed an Amazon affiliate links in ads shown during a stream so that if someone buys a product as a result of a click through from that broadcast the broadcaster automagically receives the Amazon Affiliate commision on top of the normal ad revenue.

Content specific ads. Mature content on Twitch has become the hottest of topics as of late especially when it comes to ad space and advertisers in general.
My thought being why can't we have our cake and eat it too? Why isn't there a way to have an adult side of Twitch, Twitch After Dark or something, with ads that would target the specific audiences. Obviously not advocating for full on adult films on the site but a place for the more mature streamers/viewers who want to show content/take in such content.
With the correctly targeted ads for the right age groups I'm…

Ad placement deters users for the platform and needs changing Seemingly, nine times out of ten an advert will play the second you view a stream and I believe this strongly deters people from watching.
If I see a streamer enjoy and click their stream, I am all but guaranteed an advert before I even start watching. My general reaction is to immediately close Twitch and open Youtube or turn on the TV.
I'd rather be watching the streamer I opened Twitch for, but I don't want to immediately have an ad the second I join any stream. Using television as an example; there are plenty of adverts, they're annoying,…

How about we don't have 3 minute ads before we can enter a stream? Thanks. How about we don't have 3 minute ads before we can enter a stream? Thanks.

Most annoying ads campaigns on the planet are on this website and you are not helping it. I wanted to be constructive about my hatred for ads on this site and come up with ideas but then I realized i didnt work for twitch and thats not my job.
It's 2024 and it's not possible that the best thing that your ad team has come up with is picture in picture ads not realizing that's terrible just as much as watching the ad entirely. I could think of so many stuff that would make the ads less disruptive but since you have a team that already does that i'm sure you can adopt better solutions. I will…1 vote -
Less ads in streams Less ads, I just had 8 ads so 3 minutes total in a stream, that's excessive and worse than YouTube

How can twitch ban every content imaginable that includes gambling in any way however, every ad that they show in the UK is about gambling. Stop promoting gambling if your platform is anti-gambling.

Playmobil Hallo, vielleicht sollte man nicht bei jedem aber speziell bei Erwachsenen streams nicht die Playmobil Werbung schalten! Cool wäre auch ein wenig Abwechslung.

Crypto and Alkaline water ads? Two ways to ruin yourself. Crypto and Alkaline water ads is all I see now. This sort of advertising is some weird and unscientific jank that should at very least be removed before y'all have to defend these choices.

de-sync when ad plays There is an issue where an ad will play and no audio for the ad is present- either from the following
- The audio for the ad isn't played til the next ad starts
- audio doesnt play at all until the ads are over
which after either of these finish the audio to the stream is out of sync / delayed to the point that you have to refresh the stream. Guess what happens next..
- Rewatch the same ads you just watched just before the issue happened
- Watch new ads that make the audio for the stream de-sync again
hope you…

Remove ADs on Twitch Prime subsciption. Remove ADs on Twitch Prime subscribers. This was already part of the subscription deal and revoking that and demanding a second subscription is ludicrous, completely turned off of this platform now and will be going to YouTube where guess what? I can pay one subscription and get no ADs.

ad reporting for health reasons A sonic ad played that could cause problems. its just a red button with the sonic logo and white background. while it is playing, it blinks out black quickly throughout and could cause problems for people with epilepsy.

Ad breaks don't progress when the tab isn't open Hehehe, this is the most spiteful implementation of ads I've ever seen. You're still getting an ad view, but if I want to flip to another tab while it's playing it pauses the countdown. Surely this isn't working as intended because I fear the evil little brain that would've thought up something like this.

Ability to filter/opt out of triggering ads I have intense anxiety and suffer from chronic nightmares; not being able to safely peruse twitch is greatly affecting my safety as a user. Add an option to filter/opt out of triggering ads, or at least implement a way to report distressing ads. This would improve the user experience for people with anxiety, PTSD, paranoia, and even those who prefer family friendly streams. Not having this as an option is ableist and alienating a large portion of your user base.

Make ad-free a Prime Benefit again or keep ads relevant to Twitch It's a really simple implementation to the first part.
Put ad-free viewing back as a Prime benefit! Ever since the glut of advertisements started, I had subscribed to Amazon Prime to avoid them while still supporting my favorite streamers. I'd gladly watch ONE 20s preroll if it meant I didn't have to see a single one throughout that stream or elsewhere afterwards.
I'm not gonna add another $10 on top of my Prime subscription to get the outmoded and archaic Turbo.
If the above is too hard to implement, here's something else that would make ads slightly more bearable. KEEP…

5 second limit commercial Internet audiences don't like watching commercials.
Even more so when the commercial is not for the product he doesn't want to see.
Everyone's attention is extremely reduced.
5 is the maximum limit of a person's attention span to watch a commercial.
This is the model that has worked on YouTube and should be implemented on Twitch.
30-second commercial is not acceptable for users here, everyone ends up running away from the broadcast.flood comercial = 5 seconds commecial

Allow the content of streams to be watched Lately, Twitch has been "What channel do I want to be given ads for Simulator". It's impossible to switch streams without being bombarded. When attempting to watch one specific stream, good luck.

Fake engagement I have seen many unengaged creators using artificial mechanisms to earn money with ads. In addition to being an unfair way, this can cause problems for Twitch by taking money from ads without having the audience to do so. Today there are many mechanisms that appear to be authentic public but are not. With Moss.gg for example. Lives by creators who are part of this type of "networking" often have dozens or even hundreds of people watching them, but they do not represent a real community. This is easy to see when you see that there is no engagement in…
