3. GIFS

   I'd like to share some feedback regarding Twitch's new GIF feature for Tier 2 and Tier 3 subscribers.

   First, the GIF library provided by the current platform feels very limited and outdated, with a poor selection of GIFs compared to other popular GIF websites. It would be great to see an integration with a more comprehensive and widely used GIF library, offering a much broader variety of content.

   Second, and perhaps more importantly, a large number of GIFs simply don't work when users try to send them in chat. This makes the feature frustrating to use and significantly limits its usefulness.

   The feature has a lot of potential, especially as an additional benefit for Tier 2 and Tier 3 subscribers, but the GIF selection and reliability need significant improvement to make it worthwhile.

   I hope Twitch considers improving the GIF provider and fixing the issues that prevent GIFs from working properly. Thank you for your time and for continuing to improve the platform!

4. Remove option to gift subs anonymously

   While in theory and in practice the thought was a good idea initially and for a period of time following the release of the feature it has become a liability for streamer's payout.

   If someone that the streamer know's (or doesn't) comes in gifting a substantial number of subs over a period of time before disputing it with their payment method because they had a falling out or are complete dikwads the streamer has no recourse for the negative payout they'll be set at (Assuming it isn't less than their current payout balance).

   If someone is financially punishing someone for malicious reasons then the streamer should be able to permanently remove said user from doing it to them.

   Ce qui serait bien sur Twitch, après une fin de direct de l'hôte, de mettre la possibilité de mettre un pouce (un like) pour donner un live, ou autre réaction. 8. Hide Data From Disabled Accounts Everywhere

   When a user disables their Twitch account, Twitch should automatically stop showing information from disabled accounts on all sites. Right now, even if you temporarily deactivate your account, your username history and stats still show up on external websites. Twitch can easily fix this by restricting access to disabled accounts' data, blocking outside sites from viewing a disabled user's info, and requiring them to hide that data until the user reactivates.

9. Easier option for Switching between Accounts

   With the introduction of the DJ program it is recommended for DJ's to be on a separate account for the program if they do other streaming. That is all fine and dandy except for if you want to stream other things other than music.

   I want to be able to do regular streaming and gaming.

   But I find it a real hassle to logout and log back in, especially if I want to do two streams a day, one from the DJ, one from the regular.

   It would really be nice if you could intuitively be able to just choose the account you want to be in at a single time, also prevents accidentally streaming from one account to the other.

   This would be a quality of life change and help support streamers who have to stream from more than one account.

    I don't understand why they removed the visibility of the follow duration, as that’s what shows how long someone has been following a streamer as someone who has been part of the Twitch chat community for nearly a decade, I see absolutely no benefit to removing it; Twitch relies on the chat and the streamer to look out for one another. I personally use the "follow duration" to gauge the behavior of new viewers—to determine if they are real humans or bots, and to see if they might be toxic toward the streamer I care about If you remove this system, a large number of bots will appear to be honest, many streamers lack knowledge regarding security systems or the various threats present on Twitch. While I might not fully qualify as a "streamer" myself—since I don't stream frequently or full-time—I have served as a moderator for several channels. Many streamers aren't even proficient in using ban or timeout tools; they are often unaware of Twitch-specific threats, such as periodic bot attacks involving follow-spamming or bots that distribute malware links. Please bring it back into use as before.

12. Please watch out the ifollow accounts

    I have been some people they have the name for Ifollow accounts because they are trolling from the name saying ifollow (any name required) so people are being suspicious from the ifollowaccount especially alt account for the ifollow user. So I am begging you please don't use ifollow user account because people are getting annoyed some stuff including inappropriate name from the community and twitch. Please do not follow any ifollow user account unless you need a change a name user instead of ifollow user.

14. Loop Clips, Add Seeking, and Show Live Chat in Empty Space

    Twitch Clips should behave more like modern short-form video while making better use of Twitch's unique live context.

    The current clip should loop instead of automatically moving to the next one, viewers should be able to seek backward and forward, and the empty space around landscape clips should be used to show the clip title and the live chat from that moment.

    Problem

    The current Clips viewer still feels less natural than platforms such as YouTube Shorts and TikTok.

    Viewers cannot easily move backward or forward within a clip, and when a clip finishes, Twitch automatically moves to the next one. On most short-form video platforms, the current video loops until the viewer manually swipes to the next one.

    Twitch Clips also do not fully take advantage of something unique to Twitch: the original live context and the reactions happening in chat at that moment.

    Example

    When watching a funny or surprising moment from a livestream, I often want to replay a specific part immediately.

    Many livestream clips posted on YouTube Shorts also use the vertical format effectively by placing the original landscape stream in the center and using the space above and below it for titles, comments, subtitles, or reactions.

    Twitch already has access to the original stream and the live chat from that moment, so it could provide this kind of experience natively.

    Proposed Solution

    Add a seek bar so viewers can easily move backward or forward within a clip.

    When a clip finishes, loop the current clip instead of automatically moving to the next one. The viewer should manually swipe when they want to watch another clip.

    When a landscape stream leaves unused space above and below the video in the vertical Clips viewer, use that space to display the clip title and the live chat from that moment.

    This would bring Twitch Clips closer to the interaction patterns viewers already expect from modern short-form video while still making the experience feel uniquely Twitch.

    Expected Benefit

    The goal is not simply to copy other short-form video platforms.

    Twitch can adopt familiar short-form viewing patterns while adding something those platforms cannot easily reproduce: the original live context and community reaction.

    This could make Clips easier to watch and replay while turning them into a better way to experience memorable live moments together with the reactions and atmosphere of the community.

15. Add a Live Channel Surfing Mode for Discovering Streamers

    Problem

    Discovering new live streamers currently requires viewers to actively browse through categories, recommendations, and thumbnails and decide which stream to open.

    Sometimes I don't want to choose a specific streamer. I just want to casually discover live streams and see what is happening on Twitch right now.

    Example / Inspiration

    This idea is inspired by a feature from Niconico Live called "Niconico Cruise."

    In that feature, viewers could automatically move through different live streams and watch each one for a short period. If they found a stream they liked, they could leave the cruise and continue watching that streamer normally.

    I think a Twitch-native version of this concept could work very well for live discovery.

    Proposed Solution

    Add a "Live Channel Surfing" mode that automatically takes viewers through different live streams.

    A viewer could start the mode and watch each stream for a short period before automatically moving to another stream.

    If they find a streamer they like, they could leave the channel surfing mode and continue watching that stream normally. They could also manually skip to the next stream at any time.

    Streams could be selected based on a mix of the viewer's interests and some randomness, so the feature still creates opportunities to discover streamers they would not normally find.

    It could also have different modes or categories, such as Games, Just Chatting, Rising Streamers, or streams in a specific language.

    Expected Benefit

    This could make discovering new streamers feel more spontaneous and fun.

    It would also give smaller streamers a chance to reach viewers who might never click on their thumbnail through the normal browsing experience.

    Because this is live content, it could also create unique moments where a group of viewers arrives at a stream together. Streamers could see that viewers are arriving through Channel Surfing and interact with them in real time.

    The goal would be to recreate the feeling of casually flipping through live channels until you unexpectedly find something interesting.

    Please add an "Automatic" or "System" theme option that allows the Twitch website to automatically sync with the user's OS preference (e.g., macOS/Safari system-wide Light or Dark Mode).

    Current Problem:
    Currently, users have to manually toggle between Light and Dark Mode on the Twitch website. It does not automatically adapt when the operating system switches themes (such as switching to Dark Mode at sunset).

    Proposed Solution:

    We have the option to show our display name, however as I just learned it can only be changed every 60 days.

    I have been hanging out in Japanese streams lately, and my name was a bit tricky to pronounce so I wrote it in Katakana, no prob... but now English streamers at times have trouble trying to "@" me, so I thought I'd just flip my name back temporarily while I was hanging out in some English streams. Now I want to flip it back and I'm being told I have to wait 60 days to make another change to it?

    1. Why do I need to wait 2 months at a time to make my name more accessible to a community

    2. Why doesn't the site give any proper warning when making the change? It's only AFTER I updated the display name that I got told to wait 60 days before I could change it again.

    This is unreasonable and seemingly nonsensical. 24 hours, sure; but 2 whole months?!

    i wish your payouts would count so long as you reach the treshhold before the 12th, what is the point of doing calculations on the 12th if everything between the 1st and 11th only count for the next month over? maybe either change the date of the calculations OR allow us our payouts so long as the treshhold is met before the 12th

19. Make a fix to change the language on official Twitch email settings

    All my official emails from the Twitch email address are in French. Alex from your customer support told me to post this here because hardly anyone reaches out and its considered a "very low inbound item" that doesn't have a fix because not enough people reach out about it. Alex also informed me that customer service has only been educated to inform users that their settings "should change eventually". Which is frankly, insane.

20. "Guest Appearance" Notifications for Streamer Collaborations

    Issue: A guest streamer is on host streamer's channel without going live themselves, there is no way for guest's community to know about this collaboration.

    Individuals that have notification on for guest are very much interested in going to host channel if it means they get to see their streamer and community member. Often to navigate this issue , guest go live themselves and screenshare the host stream. This is a hassle to set up and waste of resources to do essentially a rerun, leading to a lot of streamers to just not bother with it.

    This is a big loss in potential viewer retention, and loss on possibility of viewers getting more involved in other twitch community. This also allows streamers to easily collaborate without much setup.

    Solution: A guest appearance ping should be added by default on the "all" notification. Disabling is possible in advance settings.

    When a guest appearance is going on, the host stream should appear on the follow channel tab/side bar as if the guest streamer went live.

    For streamer to be a guest appearance, they would need to
    - not be streaming themselves
    - have login to their and host's account, where they can verify the guest appearance by either qr code or something.
