Suspension regarding inappropriate usernames Before suspending users with inappropriate names, could you instead give them a 5 day warning to change? The suspension without warning seems very unnecessary if a person has had it for the longest time and suddenly got suspended. I believe lots of people could stop clogging suspension appeals with this, especially those who aren't genuine trouble makers with their names and people deserve second chances! notification time Notifications are consistently failing its purpose, they notify users that we are live after 4-6 hours, this is terribly detrimental and force creators to use third parties to allow their communities to know they are live, also impacting their success and by extension, Twitch's success.

Better Way to Create New Acount Create a better way for old people using the app or have a human suport to help new users on how to create a new account. Choose option to receive code when logging in My church is on twitch and a gentleman who set up the account and cameras also created the twitch account. I do the camera work, though, during the services.
Last week, the laptop we use to monitor the stream decided it wanted to verify it was us. I logged in and asked my partner to check his email and give me the code. He had forgotten his phone. Ugh.

Unlinking connected accounts When an account gets banned it doesn't have access to the connections pannel anymore and so we can't unlink accounts (such as Steam, RiotGames or Epic Games accounts etc.) from it.

Better account verification steps when you forget your password I forgot the password to my account and didn't receive a single password reset email. I tried to verify my account through customer support but they said they couldn't verify it. Being as I don't have any of the information they request linked to my account other than my email it's a bit redundant. If there was a way of verifying via linked account such as a PlayStation Network account, or via a Discord account, it could make the whole process much easier.

Ability to disable the display of your badges on your profile Now that sub/bit badges etc have been added to display on your profile when someone clicks on your name in chat. It would be nice to have the ability to hide these from public view if you want.

Immediate start of stream of personal selected top streamer If a viewer could select a favorite streamer which stream would start immediately within the first seconds after going live, so you don´t have to pay attention to notifications. A notification can be missed so easily, also they are too small. Not everyone is always connected to an email account. Also the follower list get´s updated too slowly.
I always miss my favorite streamer CookSux, don´t see the notifcation and see him showing up in my follower list too late, but he´s already online since 30 or 50 minutes or even 2 hours.

allow streamers to notify followers of UPCOMING streams streams that happen later that day or night. obviously it would depend on streamers making the notifications but i think they would since it would probably help with the lull of not many users watching when they first go live. also would be cool for the people watching, since they'd be more likely to catch their favorite streamers when they're on, since they can see that they will be and plan their day or whatever accordingly, instead of having to hope that when the streamer goes live, they happen to be able to watch the stream right then.

Since I had to reset my password (forgot it once again, since I am not allowed to have an Easy password) I have totally requested 3 sms messages. Scheduled notifications Notifications are great, but not when you're at work. It would be great to have the option to set time frames to either receive notifications or to not receive notifications.

2-Factor Authentication system Me and like many other people have been on this site for years building our stream and community’s. They one day we get to become affiliates, so we set up our 2-Factor Authentication but then we get locked out of our account and r unable to return because a bug doesn’t send sms code to our phones so we can log in the Authy never works so, the idea is to fix this so we won’t have to start new accounts.

Notification Options Allow streamers to put out a push notification when they are on somebody else's stream. Allow them to post to social media through the dashboard. Let viewers have the option to turn on this type of notification (similar to how Twitter has notifications for all tweets and live tweets).

Supporting display names in arabic As is possible for Chinese, Japanese and Korean users who can set display names in their own languages, it would be great if you could also do this in Arabic! This also sets the stage for other languages that use the Arabic script in future (Farsi, Urdu, etc)

importing contacts and social syncing If someone has my email, phone number (optional of course), twitter username, instagram username, snapchat, facebook, youtube, or discord id etc, I would love for these people to be able to find my twitch profile with in the twitch eco system and not have to leave the site to try to find me
Every other social profile I've had in my life time, has had an option to "import" contacts, I would love to see this be a native feature on twitch to help organic discoverability.4 votes -
Dont auto enable notifications on follow This happens frequently, If i follow a channel because I want to check it out or see when its online the notifications are automatically enabled and then ill get a notification in the middle of the night
Added bonus if I then want to disable the notification on that channel I have to sit and watch an ad because it blocks the controls for this. So im either watching an ad at 4am or I'm likely forgetting and getting another notification the next day and getting woken up again.

Smaller Emails I feel like Twitch sends out emails with an excessive amount of HTML in them. HTML emails are fine, but let's all try to keep things to a sane level.
