Allow Channel Editors to use Helix Raids API With the new Raids API, it should mirror IRC where channel editors can trigger raid/unraid. Currently, this is not supported (need broadcaster user access token). Until this functionality is added, I will not be migrating to Helix Raids

Provide description of defaults for flags to Twitch CLI Flags should describe defaults and ideally be listed together. Like a linux man page for instance.

Include emote artist in the Get Emote Sets endpoint The API does not include any attribution info at the moment, it would be nice if we could get the artist's username and id with the emote data :)

Include channel name in the onAuthorized response It would be nice if the response included the channel name and user's name so we don't have to call the API to convert the IDs to usernames :)

Provide Channel Emotes bitstier Details The existing Channel Emotes API response includes a 'bitstier' value of 'emote_type' for Cheer-earned emotes, but does not include any data about the actual number of bits required to earn the emote. Either the 'tier' attribute or a new integer-value (recommended) containing the number of bits for each emote would be very helpful. Adding the same attribute to the Emote Sets API response would also be useful and uniform.

adding campaign_id on result for get-drops API-call add campaignid to the drops result on the get drops Entitlements API-call - so we don't need the EventSub call anymore (which only contains the campaignid for an entitlement)
with that, we have a good fallback-solution (if EventSub isn't fired) and we can re-use rewards from the manager. The next step, to allow using the same rewarduniqueid multiple times in the campaign would be to add a "task-identifier" to eventsub and also to this api get-call.

Provide an endpoint for recent raids Or as a minimum "Raids this stream".
But then you need a sensible reset point. So last x days works. Similar to other "time" based endpoints.

Raid started (and cancelled maybe) EventSub Please add EventSubChannelRaidStartedEvent and EventSubChannelRaidCancelledEvent to the API…
I’ve seen many requests for it, and it should definitely be a thing

Add Delete Subscriptions by Broadcaster ID Add a broadcaster ID to the https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/api/reference#delete-eventsub-subscription endpoint so we can do a simple API call when we get a user authorization revoke to be able to clean up all eventsub subscriptions for that broadcaster.

Simplified Event Based Drops With the unfortunate, but expected, end to Enhanced Experiences that opened the door to event based drops I think that there are ways that Event Based Drops could be implemented without the complexity that was E2.
In E2, Event Based Drops required the game to send metadata to Twitch, either directly from the client or from the game developers. Then a check would be made to see if a condition was met that would award a Drop. This meant that Twitch had to keep track of the metadata for every single channel and have more complicated Drops Campaigns for settings…

Regular Purple Popups Ruin Experience The purple popups that occur when watching an embeded stream really only serve to worsen the experience of using an Embed. Attempts to engage with third party content are ruined but these purple screens cutting off the action every 15 minutes and the "Best experience" that twitch claims you can get from using the website directly is an experience devoid of the actual functionality provided by some third party applications that are at time the whole reason for seeing the stream in the first place.

API Endpoint for searching tags by names Currently, you can use https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/api/reference#get-all-stream-tags to get all tags, and then manually iterate through to find tags with given names, but this can be slow (2-3 seconds to search for 8 tags in my test using twurple). It would be better to have an endpoint similar to https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/api/reference#get-games, which allows for a name query parameter. Of course, for tags, this would require also including a language parameter for the IETF language tag.

Add automod events to EventSub PubSub provides withheld messages, approves and rejects through their API. Ingesting this data through EventSub would be great too!

Get the last time that a channel streamed It would be nice to find out the last that a channel did an actual stream from the API.
This has been requested in the past, and a Twitch admin responded with some workaround that are pretty limiting.
There may be some valid (privacy?) reasons by Twitch as to why this isn't something they want to offer up, but let's see if there's interest from others.
Ideally, the helix/users call would return a 'last_streamed_at' field set to the last date that a user streamed.
This could be limited to only apply to streaming (not logged in and watching/chatting) and you…
