WebRTC Streaming (e.g. from a web app) There is already WebRTC support, but it is not yet public. Open Source Twitch Documentation Twitch has one of the most intelligent and tech savvy user bases of any product I can think of. If Twitch were to make their documentation source code Open Source, members of the community that are tech savvy enough will do your job for you.

Video clip overlay hovering duration I have a iOS mobile app that embeds Twitch clips retrieved from the api. When a user taps the big play button in the center of the video, the video overlay (thumbnail, title, controls) stays hovering for close to 6 seconds. Tapping the video again to hide to overlay does not work.
However, when a user taps the small play button on the bottom left corner and then taps on the video, the overlay hides instantly.
Having a significant portion of the video content covered for the first 6 seconds of the clip is a bit annoying, and most users…

Modify EventSub's channel.follow to include shoutout info Within EventSub's channel.follow event, it would be nice if there was info about if the follow originated from a Shoutout, and who the Shoutout was from.
This would be useful for stream overlays, so the notification can say something like "[Viewer] followed, thanks to [Shoutout Origin]'s shoutout!"

Allow localhost redirect URI to work regardless of the port If the redirect URI of a registered app is set to http://localhost the redirect URI check must work regardless of the port, so if I start the flow using redirect_uri param to "http://localhost:3000" this should work (same as Github is doing).
This will ease the development of desktop applications that requires oauth2 flow.

API for Twitch Notifications Twitch supports two categories of notifications for users on their site: My Channel and My Twitch. My Channel provides updates related to broadcasts, such as subscriptions or donations. My Twitch provides updates mainly about game drops and other loot related activities.
I propose extending the My Twitch notifications so developers can send custom notifications to users directly on the Twitch platform. Allow us to sort clips by time This already exists with the videos endpoint. Clips already have a created_at value so sorting by it should be easy to implement. You could actually reduce API calls if you allowed sorting by date.
