1. Profile with Language organization/reference

I use twitch streams to learn some languages, but just like youtube and another platforms my way to find content was just messed up. The profile need to have a reference for languages to search or something like: on mondays i want to search for just spanish streams, and that kind of content will be on the top searchs for me.

I know that we already have tags for that, but what if users can make some "tag presets" for searching and/or "For you" navbar?

4. Add a category for "The Tomorrow Children: Phoenix Edition"

There is a "The Tomorrow Children" category, but no "The Tomorrow Children: Phoenix Edition" category.

"TTC" is no longer in service and is no longer playable.
I would like to see "TTC PE" added as a category, which is newly released and currently playable.

6. Levelhead category is no longer the default for the URL

August 6th, 2022, the URL for Levelhead which had existed for years for Levelhead was suddenly replaced by an obscure indie game that requires a USB from the developer to play (who doesn't respond to requests for such). Both of the categories still exist on Twitch, but now the original and still active community is no longer able to stream to the correct category. This is making it very difficult to bring in new streamers and players as they aren't shown any information about the game that is actually being played and speedrun on Twitch.

Please help save our community and fix this URL override issue!

7. streamer cards

Streamer cards (like twitch ambassador dangheeseling does) but across the entirety of twitch, so you can collect cards from your favourite streamers for gifting packs and be able to exchange and collect cards with other communities across twitch. Would also be a great way to showcase supporters of your community by unpacking their cards and showing how has supported. Could be generated with a small clip (like moments) of their support at that time or a screenshot rather than needing lots of custom art, or a showcase of the channels emotes which make up the cards which can be collected for that streamer and a random one is given.
I don't know how twitch would wish to implement it but obviously it's a great idea and works well for the named twitch ambassador and would be great if there was a way to incorporate it across the whole of twitch for all channels.

11. Featured Streamers

Stop featuring streamers that don't game on the front page. I joined Twitch before the garbage that is Amazon bought it. Back then it was just about gaming. Now every time I get on Twitch the front page has little to no channels gaming on it. I'm tired of it. If I am not taken seriously I will do my best to cause a mass exodus of the platform even if I have to make my own platform.

13. Recently Online Followed Channels

We should be able to see recently online channels in the followed channels list.

Currently it just shows online/offline but when you follow so many people you can't watch them all live, which means checking for VoDs when you miss people who recently went live.
However this is difficult when you don't even know who even actually went live in the first place, which if the most recently live offliners where categorized as such and put at the top of the offline list then it would become much easier.

Otherwise without this feature I am (and probably many) left wondering if I missed anyone, which in some cases I can obviously figure out myself especially if a channel has a schedule but I am still left searching for said channels to find their VoDs.

In fact this was a long standing feature already present on twitch but in the past few months was removed (seemingly without notice), which did seem to be a bug at first (as sometimes the follow list does break) however it never got fixed and have spoken to support who confirm it has been removed as a feature.
Hence it seems it was purposefully decided twitch should be a worse experience and I am suggesting to reverse or even improve that old feature.

14. Remove "Trans Lives Matter" tag because it coopts Black Lives Matter movement

Prefacing this by saying that this isn't an attack on the trans community (I'm also a Chinese trans girl). I'm posting this because of anti-Black racism in channel tags.

I've been searching for trans creators by searching for trans in the "Search category tags" box. But one of the results returned "Trans Lives Matter", which is anti-Black. It coopts the Black Lives Matter movement, and erases anti-Black oppression.

I'm proposing that any tags that coopt the BLM movement should be deleted (so any "___ Lives Matter" tags that are not explicitly about Black people/lives should be deleted). There are other ways to support trans causes (e.g. "trans rights") but using Trans Lives Matter isn't the way to go -- it takes away from BLM's efforts to center Blackness. Black Lives Matter is fundamentally about Black struggle, so "___ Lives Matter" tags that are not explicitly about Black lives detract from this.

16. Show if following sidepanel is overflowing

Until a few days ago the "following channels" sidepanel has also shown channels that are offline, just with a greyed out version of their profile picture. But now that those are not shown anymore, there is no more visual clue on whether there are more channels live that you follow than there are shown on that sidepanel when it is not expanded.

To fix that issue I would propose the follling approach (but I'm also open for other suggestions):
Once there are more channels you follow are live than fit on that list, instead of showing the last one of that list, show a grey "+x" symbol, where x is the number of channels that are live but could not be shown because there is no more space to display them. And when clicking on that "+x" symbol, more channels are displayed in the same way as it would be done by the "show more" button in the expanded view of the sidepanel.

It would allow millions of veterans to connect and interact with those that support our veterans.

19. Allow for Denotation of Stream Game categories by a "Game - Series" Format

A big issue with discoverability on Twitch, especially with retro or niche topics, is through how Categories are currently handled. When categorizing what the stream is doing, there is only two extreme options of the exact, specific game ("Pokémon Scarlet/Violet" or "Final Fantasy XII Remake") or the broadest topic of the game ("Retro" or "Games + Demos"), with no middle ground to help summarize things and no choice to have more than 1 game in your category. Along with this, retro titles (Such as older Final Fantasy games), are basically screwed into being a part of the extremely broad categories because the amount of people searching for a specific retro game is very small to none.
Therefore, I first suggest that there should be an ability to categorize a Series as well as a game for a stream. Take for example: "Bomberman 64 - Bomberman, Final Fantasy XII Remake - Final Fantasy, and Super Mario Sunshine - Super Mario. These can be simple changes, but it can mean a lot in searching for these streams.
Taking Pokémon for example, it's very noticeable that streamers playing older games, such as Pokémon Heart Gold, will instead categorize themselves under the newest Pokémon game, take Pokémon Scarlet/Violet. This is because people would mainly be searching for the newest game, increasing the odds of viewers finding the channel. And, if people are searching for the older Pokémon games, they must search through each older Pokémon game 1 by 1 to find a streamer they like.
This is where the category of "Series" comes in as if a person can just search "Pokemon", any streamer playing Pokémon will show. And, if a person just wants a certain Pokémon game, the option to search for the specific game is still there through the “Game” categories. This lets streamers play and categorize whatever game they want without worry of the algorithm screwing them out of viewers.
This idea could also branch out to the other topics of Twitch, art, music, irl, etc., as this format can work in denoting what type of topic instead of just the topic ("Type - Topic"). Take a makeup stream for example: Having the stream be categorized under "Makeup - Art" can allow for a higher chance of viewers seeing the stream by either searching for makeup specifically, or through just searching for general art. "Metal - Music", "Wrestling - Sports", the list can go on.
I'm hopeful this idea can be considered as this could help increase viewability and help decrease the worry of the algorithm for streamers. Also, allowing for a category that is neither too specific nor too broad will greatly assist in viewers finding the stream that they want.

20. Followed channel sorting

I have a few suggestions as a content viewer.
    Followed Channel tweaks
The Followed Channel Text section is too large.
The New sorting option is pointless as I have no idea its logic. Not knowing its logic makes it HARDER to find the stream you are looking for.
Add a low to high viewer count sorting option. Some people follow large streamers that they hardly watch.
Show every live streamer followed in the section WITHOUT having to hit Show More. Make it scroll if you have to.
Add a custom order sorting option so I can tier my favorite streamers myself.
Group followed streamers together that are doing Squad streams.
Add a "featuring" section that can indicate that another streamer is on a different stream. Have the stream show up on the featured persons followers list. Make some sort of indicator in the follower list that we can get more info when we mouse over the stream link. Probably need to make an approval process like squad streaming so it isn't meme'd/abused.
    Obviously...
Create a way to monetize clips. Why am I going to Youtube??? Maybe create a vod, supercut, and clips section for streamers?
